Rubybeth -- your wedding looks like it was a very special day for everyone in attendance. I saw this thread earlier this morning but didn''t have time to chime in. I had to come back and say CONGRATULATIONS to you and your husband. Your dress and feathers are SOOO pretty.

Oh, and akmiss: the Cat Stevens version was my cousin''s idea--she was our pianist. We loved the idea! We used the piece as our processional and gathering song, since we had such a short processional. She also helped us by playing the Sufjan Stevens version of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" and recommended "For the Beauty of the Earth" (sung during Meg''s wedding in the "Little Women" film) sometime during the wedding, too, which we did while our godmothers brought the gifts to the alter. It was really nice of my cousin to help us out!
