RIP jigglypuff

My precious maltese girl passed away peacefully at home yesterday. She turned 13 in early october. She had a long and wonderful life, and I will miss her so much.

She was the grumpiest old lady, and I think she's currently over the rainbow bridge happily shouting at other dogs, "GET OFF MY LAWN" while laying on a cozy bed.

She had irritable bowl disease, so for a vast majority of her life was on a bland prescription diet. Her last meal was apple, chicken tenders, cheese, and leftover roast beef. She was thrilled about all of the tasty food.

The in home euthanasia vet was beyond kind. If anyone in Southern CA is in a similar situation where it's time to let go but your fur baby hates the vet, tag me and I'll give you their info. I feel lucky that her final moments were so calm and peaceful.

Jigglypuff, I love this name, full of whimsy. What a happy beautiful little being she was. You now have a dog shaped space in your heart, as well. I know that shape and weight. All the edges. She'll be back there someday.
