Author Beverly Cleary died yesterday at age 104.

I adored Beverly Cleary books when I was a child - I read most everything she wrote - besides the Henry Huggins/Ramona Quimby books, I loved Fifteen, Mitch and Amy, and Sister of the Bride - lovely memories. Thank you Ms. Cleary, rest in peace.

Me too! Loved Beverly Clearly.

Loved her books too. I loved Ramona. Those books really went into great detail about the trials and tribulations of childhood and they were a great comfort to me when I was a child.

I loved her books. We had a bookmobile that came to our neighborhood on Saturdays and I remember exactly where her books were in the stacks. I was always hoping to find a new one.

I loved her. Not only was she a part of my childhood, but she was a part of my children's childhood too. I read them all the books when they were little and they loved her. I actually heard from my 24 year old before I read it myself the news of her death. She left an amazing lifetime of work.
