what do you think for my finance''s ring engraving

"forever this way" or "stay forever this way"

Also, for the date on the ring should I do our wedding date, or do the date of our first kiss (and be a lil diff) we are getting married on the anniversary of our first kiss, so I would just put the year of our first kiss instead of this year.

What does the saying mean to you?

To me, without trying to offend, I think the saying could grow old. I see a relationship as always needing to progress. I don''t want to be the same way in 25 years so saying "this way forever" could date itself for me moe than I would want for a wedding band.

Do whichever date means the most to you. I picked our wedding date since that was the date we exchanged the rings with the date engraved inside them.

I like "forever this way" and I would definitely put your wedding date on it instead of your first kiss date. It is his wedding ring, so the wedding date is the obvious choice
I had my fiance''s engraved with "Do not remove. 10.3.2008. loveme"
A little less romantic than yours ;D but he thinks it''s funny. We sign everything to each other loveme, so that''s where that comes from

i guess i mean, forever this way, "this way" being more than this just this year or recent months, we have been together for 6 years, so what I mean is, "this way" in that we have been through alot together, easy times and hard times yet we always stick together and find happiness in our relationship and that is how I want the rest of our lives together to be.............hard to say in one saying

Go with what you like! I''m glad you explained a bit more, even though you didn''t need to. My partner stressed a lot about what to engrave in my band. It must be hard to pick something that''s personal, unique, meaningful, and somewhat timeless.

maybe i just wont put a date, we will always remember our first kiss and our wedding date(s), its a little weird with the dates bc we are doing a legal wedding before we do a small ceremony in puerto rico, and I am not sure if we have to exchange rings on the legal wedding date or not (so I wouldnt really want to put that date on the ring, and i think its a little weird to have a date on their for our small ceremony date, since it wont have happened yet)

I might just ask him.....we are doing surprise engraving, but i dont think if he knows the date it will be a big deal, although, if I put the date of our first kiss, it would be a cute thing for him to be surprised about, that day is really special to us, we celebrate it every year since that day.
