Horrible design.

Unlike a flat cellphone, the ear end is shaped to seal better against the ear to block out room sounds.
It is long enough so the microphone is positioned at your mouth instead of the middle of your cheek, which will result in your voice coming through louder than noise in the environment.
Unlike a small, slippery, flat, and thin thing, you can actually rest this on your shoulder so both hands are free.
You don't have to look at it to know which side goes against your head, also the cord intuitively tells you which end goes next to your mouth.
Unlike something flat, it is actually comfortable for the hand to grip.
You can SEE your cellphone while you talk.


Horrible horrible design.

Actually I may get one for my SO as a YEH, Year-End-Holiday, present.
He won't use it, then I'll get it.

I would TOTALLY use that, especially in public.

I wish they had the hamburger handset. I always wanted one of those as a teen, and my parents refused. My mom always said "You'll thank me one day." She said the same thing when she refused to let me get a mullet haircut with permed bangs, too. She was so cruel.

I used to watch a sitcom when I was a teenager and I can't remember which one it was... but they had the hamburger phone and I really wanted one!!!
