Ugh. So, I ordered a ring from Sweden. It was described as having one slightly damaged stone. Instead, over half of them are badly pitted or abraded. I want to return it.
The dealer says, sure - but she's planning to go to Japan at the end of the month, so I should ship it there, and she won't refund my money until she receives it. Having never shipped to Japan, I'm leery ... and having always gotten my money back basically on notifying them of the decision to return, leery twice over. Does this sound weird to you guys? Or is it just the way things are done now?
P.S. - Bought through Etsy, paid with PayPal, so I have 45 days (well, 36, at this point) to open a formal dispute.
