Good photographers are hard to find and I wanted to recommend a good one. I''ll start off saying this is my long time friend''s daughter and her husband. They met in photography school and are degreed photographers who also do commercial work. So for them it''s not a side job, weekends only or something to do with their camera until they find a "real" job. One thing I think you''ll like is on their website they show many actual weddings. A lot to look at.

They probably aren''t for everyone because their style is very creative, a lot of fun camera angles, and interesting compositions. I don''t know how they do at real formal tradition poses. I don''t see a lot of that in their portfolio.

They were married 2 years ago and I went to their wedding which was photographed by their friends from photography school. So they know first hand what a wedding entails and what sort of memories you want to have. Their own photographs were amazing and I thought if they are still doing this when my kids get married I''m hiring them. Since I am not a bride-to-be I have no idea how their fee stacks up but since their are 2 of them and they both shoot I imagine it might be pricer than some.

Just a side note about what they did that I thought was cool and maybe other photographers do it too, is by the time we got to the reception area they had already gone through the ceremony photos, cropped them and had an endless loop on a MacBook which sat on a table at the reception. We could view the photos they JUST took. It was really a nice touch.

I am curious to hear opinions. I was a bride 25 years ago and got horrible photos so I am sympathetic to anyone trying to pick a photographer.

Swingirl - Thanks for sharing! Great recommendation.

I am not a professional but their pictures look amazing. I really enjoyed viewing their portfolio. Their colors are so vibrant and this makes their pictures feel so alive to me.

My fi and I are in the process of interviewing photographers. I wish that they were in Seattle. We would give them a jingle.

Do you happen to know if they offer an album, if so, how much and what type?

wow. beautiful beautiful pictures!!!!
i wish i could afford them, but i have a lower budget than most people for photography.

thanks for sharing!

The live in Oregon but they travel to locations. I think they have a fee page called "investment". I don't really know what they offer because I've never worked with them. They look like they love what they do.

Hi, this is Blaine here (from B&B photography). I saw this link coming in on our website Statcounter... couldn''t help but visit and read the comments. Swingirl, thanks for your wonderful recommendation! That is really nice of you and and we''re so glad you like our work. :)
Bethany and I of course tried to think of who you are... but to no avail... not enough clues! So your anonymity prevails... :)

Sparkalicious- Glad you enjoyed our portfolio... it''s funny you mention Seattle... We are driving there tomorrow to shoot a wedding! We travel anywhere and offer all different types of albums. :) If you''re interested, send us an email though the website and we''d love to talk. I could also recommend a great photographer friend of mine who is based in Seattle.

Best regards,
Blaine
