I know there are a few watch collectors and aficionados, can you please list some reputable online stores?

I nice gent's watch. My husband's 40th B-day coming up.

I don't even know where to begin looking. Something in the 1-3K range, not too swanky, something durable and rugged. Any recommendations would be great.

My dad ended up getting an Omega Seamaster (quartz) for a little over $2k from a Jared's jewelry store. It retails for $2600. He called all the Omega retailers in his area and found the best price there. It's a great looking watch!

Holben's has a super-solid reputation for ebay vintage watch sales (I've bought a watch from him, as has a good friend):
