Hi all! It looks like I have found a way to ship the ring to Grace in LA. Up for sale is a 2.46 ct GIA certified K, VS1. The stone measures 8.82-8.89 x 5.28. It has a beautiful blocky facet pattern with sharp contrast zones and great light play. It is set in a 6-prong vintage platinum mounting with 3 chunky oec melee along each shoulder. Size 6 and fully sizable. Retail on the stone alone is $20,000. I am selling for $15,999. That stone is an absolute dream. Why oh why can't I just have $15,000 lying around?? This would be way more fun than remodeling the kitchen. (The cut of your diamond is 100% my favorite flavor of diamonds, ever, and I know how rare & special it is. ). I'm literally adding up in my head how much I could try to sell to get closer to $15k, ha!

Did you ever send to Grace for consignment? My sister's (also Canadian) boyfriend is finally ready to buy and this is such an amazing diamond. He is super interested if it is still available!

I haven't sent it to Grace, no. And it is still available. BUT, ironically, I am not able to ship within Canada as there is no service here that provides sufficient insurance. I am able to sell within the US via Grace's shipping service, but the ring must go to her first (insurance rules). She could then send it BACK to Canada. I know....crazy! Unless your sister's boyfriend happens to on the West Coast and could pick it up locally? That would be lucky!!!
