I'm so sorry about Gary @Daisys and Diamonds. He sounds like he's in really good hands and I'm sending best wishes for a full recovery. Take care of yourself and make sure to eat and rest. We're here for you, sending hugs and love.

at 3am he was kind of starting to almost he lucid
at 7,30 he was better again and had a cuppa
at 8 he had some breakfast
the beautiful Asian anathestologost came in and she looked so happy to see him eattig and drinking
he is saying please and thank you again
but with every win they tell me ten bad things
he is having an ECG right now -ive come home for a shower and to feed the cats
he has kidney problems now and they are worried about his heart
the heat nurse is lovely
the boss doctor not so much
the head nurse says its not my fault becuase he is a grown man and i cant control what he does or doesnt do but i should have tried harder
he is my whole life

I'm glad to hear Gary is more alert and is eating and drinking. I hope they can get a handle on all of his other health issues soon. Please don't be so hard on yourself @Daisys and Diamonds - I'm sure you've done all you could to help Gary and you've been there for him every step of the way. I know you're very scared but none of this is your fault. Big hugs to you.
 
I went home for a shower and fresh clothes
I didn't like being in the house without him
The house was cold so I put the heat pump on for a couple of hours while I was home
Fluffy knows something is wrong
They did an ecg but the doc hasn't been back
He has kidney and heart trouble now
It's like he beats one thing and they find ten others to worry more about

The Indian nurse whom he called Fluff has lost her earring
Hopefully it's in her clothes
 
When I went home to shower as I was leaving Puffball went back outside. I filled the biscuit bowl at the backdoor full up
He had had a big meal as soon as I got home but I wanted him to stay inside for company for Fluffy
It's cold and rainy again
 
I'm so sorry I missed this yesterday. All the healing vibes to Gary and. you. I hope he has more and more better days. Take care.
 
Gary is doing better. They have postponed the follow up surgery as he is responding really well to the antibiotics and it will give more time for the wound to keep healing
The cleaner just came in. Nice cherry lady. I wish she was a nurse
I told her about the Indian nurse's missing earring
 
@Daisys and Diamonds I'm hoping for the fastest possible recovery for Gary, and keeping you both in my thoughts.

im hpme for a breather
the sun is out so its not so gloomy at home and not cold although i put the heat pump on for while im home
Fluffy is mad, she left a big poo on my chair -but i thought ahead and had plastic and a cloth down
she would not talk to me but she did give me a lick before
she had food left in her bowl but Buffball was outisde, he is in now
Gary sas just be back by his dinner time
he is still in CCU but they have taken his moniters off and he is eatting and drinking, and taking almost normally
i am still terrified as he has a long way to go and he has damaged his heart and kidneys but the doc this morning was very pleased with him and how much progress he is making so he wont need the 2nd op till tomorrw as the antibioltics are working well so they say let the woundrecover as much as it can before they take a another look , it was very deeo

It’s good to hear that Gary is improving. I hope it continues. And you got a pretty little pick-me-up in the mail! That’s fun! Post a picture on your lapel when things settle down again.

Hoping that Gary continues to recover (with minimal damage) from this situation. Hang in there @Daisys and Diamonds . I'm
sure you bring him comfort. Make sure you're eating and taking mental breaks to keep your strength up. Will be thinking about
you and Gary.
 
So glad to hear he is improving. Hope it continues and that you both can get some rest. This has to have been very stressful and I am thrilled to hear good news.
 
I got some sleep in thevfsmily room
He didn't want be to go but I had to sneak out when he was asleep
I was so tired
They saved me his breakfast
Haven't had rice bubbles in 45 years. Of course this is a fresh unsweetened hell although they came with a sachet of artifical sweetener that just seemed to make the milk sweet
But I'm not complsing
He has his secondary surgery today but as its no urgent and shouldn't be Ling they have to fit it in
CCU is quiet today . Empty bede
The person next door is very very sick. The nurse told Gary he will walk out of here but that poor soul will not
But last night in the small wee hours I saw a very pregnant lady with her husband waddling alone looking at the photos of wanganui that line the long corridors on this floor
It was nice
A nurse told me there is an electronic chart behind their desk that tells them how many babies arrive . At first I thought it odd being so close together . Maternity,
Pediatrics, And CCU but it's nice to know more little ones will grow up here
I hope there are no sick babies behind that sign
