I'm so sorry, @monarch64 - here's a picture of my very silly Cavalier boy as a promise of what will come:![]()
It’s been almost 6 months since Blanche passed, and I can’t help but come back to this thread and see everyone’s fabulous furry friends. I miss her so much, I’ve searched and searched for another but my recent health issue has thrown a roadblock into my quest. I can’t raise another puppy right now. I have been in conversation with a local woman who used to breed Cavaliers, and she had some leads. Then I mentioned to her that I would rather find a retired breeding Cav (female) around 4-5 years old. I also told her about my recent mamm and ultrasound results and she said oh, it’s not a good idea for you to have a pet with radiation and/or chemo. So, another disappointment. I will have to live vicariously through everyone here and silly pet videos online. Bummer.

My latest sharing.
Walking Mica and Arya the other morning a young school girl, about 6 or 7, walking towards us with her Grandpa excitedly wanted to say hullo to the dogs.
Arya considers strangers more poisonous and dangerous than a red bellied black snake and hides whereas Mica is up for a greeting anytime and every time.
Permission granted.
In the blink of an eye this young girl literally grabs Mica by both ears and hauls her head towards hers where she then promptly smothers Micas nose with multiple kisses.
I don’t know who was more shocked me or Grandpa?
Not Mica, Mica acknowledges that sometimes the loving is excessive and overwhelming but whatever.
