PWC employees need bodyguards

This whole thing is pathetic. Don't we have bigger problems than to worry about a simple freaking mistake? I mean God forbid celebrities are embarrassed on TV. Who gives a flying f!

I feel terrible for these two people with their faces flashed everywhere like they're America's Most Wanted. Just plain stupid if you ask me. We should be ashamed of ourselves.

I don't get it. TBH I initially thought it was for ratings/hype or something. Since the viewership has been declining I thought maybe it was something to get people talking about it, even if they didn't watch it (since it was like 5 f*cking hours long!).

So I don't really get the outrage. It was an award. It was embarrassing, but it's not the end of the world. In the end, both movies got more publicity because of it. Death threats seem incredibly OTT.

In the future if I do bother to watch it will be for the first half hour and the last.

The whole middle was unwatchable.

I just like to see what people wear, and hear who won the awards. So I can pretty much skip it and just look at pictures the next day in most cases lol.

The whole thing is ridiculous. It's a flipping award show. Someone made a mistake and did a lousy job. No one died or was seriously injured because of this mistake. People need to just get over it. The reports I read stated the person in charge of the envelopes was taking pictures and being star struck when he should have been doing his job. The whole thing seems extremely blown out of proportion. It will probably be the first time in twenty years that people will actually remember who won the award. La La Land will also be remembered. Both Movies have probably benefited from the mistake.
