Proposing At Home

I guess I'm old fashioned, but for me this is the perfect place to do a proposal. Soft light, soft music and maybe some wine. It's a very personal thing that will effect the rest of your life and I just wouldn't feel comfortable doing that in public.

It sounds like it would be a perfect proposal! I know I would have died from embarrassment if my dh proposed publicly and the way he did it for us was perfect and it sounds like the way you are planning to propose is perfect for the 2 of you. Best of luck and congratulations!

I guess it's all a matter of personal preference. I would love a huge public proposal. I know there are some people who don't feel that their love is real unless the fiance publicly acknowledges it, but I'm not one of them. I just love to share good news with as many people as people as possible.
