What kind of paper is recommended for programs or does it not matter? I''m either doing white or ivory paper with blue print, but I''m not sure if I should use regular printer paper, resume paper, or something else. What are you doing?

what color is your invite paper? if they are white, do white for the programs and vice versa. what type of programs are you doing? i had booklet style.. so i did a cover (heavy) weight for the cover and the inside paper was a text (lighter) weight.

Using the same color paper as the invitation makes sense. Our invitations are white, so I''ll stick with white for the programs. The programs will be one sheet of paper, folded and printed on the front and back. Since it''s just one piece of paper, I wasn''t sure if the weight should be heavier than standard paper.

yes, then i would do white. if it''s just one sheet, defintely do a heavy paper. 100# cover weight.

DO NOT USE RESUME PAPER!!! I had bought 200 sheets of resume paper to use as the cover to my programs, and have definitely lost the receipt, and opened all packages before I realized...resume paper has water marks (do they make it without? if so, that would still be okay)! I''m so tired of dealing with programs at this point that I think I''m going to just say sc3w it and use it anyway...

we are using program paper (heavier than regular paper) that is acid and lignin free. It folds at the center like a card would. Found the DIY kit at Michaels arts & crafts for $20/100 programs. So far I''ve been using this brand for STD and Invitations and have had no problem printing. Personally I think heavier paper will look a bit nicer.

Thanks for the suggestions! I was leaning toward heavier paper, and it''s good to know that I was headed in the right direction. Today was my last day of school, so I can now focus the remainder of the time before the wedding on the programs and other things.
