Hello All!

Does anyone know of anywhere online that I can order a NICE professional, thick wedding album. My friend has a thick book, with card board like pages and it is beautiful. Our photog gave us our pictures on cd''s for me to do with what I want. She is just getting her business started and I gave her permission to use some of our photos in her portfolio!

We already have a thinner magazine style that I ordered from snapfish, but I wanted a thick, nice album.

Thanks in advance!

I''m about to finish my album on mypublisher.com. it''s really easy to use!

here''s a thread on mypublisher.com
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/mypublisher-com.96282/

i''m not sure how the pages are though - if it''s paper or cardboard-ish...

KISS Wedding Books, possibly?

Here is a link so you can check them out.

KISS and other publishing companies besides like MyPublisher and like Snapfish, are for professional photographers ONLY they will ask you to verify that you are a professional photog before granting you permission to use their site.

Thanks guys. Books like on the KISS website are what I''m looking for. The thick buggers. I wonder if my photographer friend can order off of one of those sites.....

ang3199 - I''d love to know what your photog says about them ordering you an album off of Kiss.

I''m curious if they would be willing to do it for you if they do not offer the album option.

ang- I just finally finished my wedding album finally through http://www.blackriverimaging.com/ and it is absolutely fabulous. The pages are thick cardboard; the quality is great, and the pages are flush mounts. They do NOT work exclusively for photos, so they will allow you to order directly. I like shutterfly and mypublisher etc, but they don''t have these professional type options as far as I know.

This is the album I did- http://www.blackriverimaging.com/wedding_album_tuscany.asp I''d be happy to snap some photos of mine if you are interested.

Icekid when creating a login it asks you the name of the studio and how long you have been in business. How did you get around this?

Allie- hmm, interesting. When I registered for the site (it was back in the summer) they did not ask for a studio name. I do believe the vast majority of their customers are actually photographers. I would drop their CS an email, or else just try to sign up and put your name in again for the studio name. I can''t find anywhere on the site that says they will only deal with professional photographers.

If you would like a traditional matted style album, I love these from Adorama. http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=itemlist&cat1=Filing/Storage&cat2=Photo%20Albums%20-%20Professional&cat3=Bound%20Wedding%20%26%20Portrait%20Albums The Adorama brand ones in particular are great quality for a really inexpensive price. Plus, they are available to the public, so all you have to do is print and insert your pics.

Oh, I am also a fan of Blurb. A lot of professionals actually use Blurb when they need a quick book. http://www.blurb.com/create/book/wedding_books_for_photographers?ce=google_wed&gclid=CP-D7_zojZYCFQNaFQodpXNOEQ The software is really easy to use and has a lot of preloaded templates.

My best friend got married this summer and did her album books for her wedding AND honeymoon on mypublisher.com. The books are amazing quality and the pages are not cardstock thickness, but they are like a nice coffee-table book thickness.

I would say go with them - her results were just amazing!
