Wedding Productive Weekend!

So this weekend me and FI went to scope out venues. Well, we ended up getting A LOT accomplished!

We booked:
-a date (May 16, 2009!!)

-ceremony and reception sites
-florist
-caterer
-rentals
-wedding coordinator

I also bought my wedding dress (I would post picks, but FI lurks), veil, and shoes.

I picked out bridesmaid dresses and tuxes!

I feel ahead of the game, but know I still have so much more to do!

I'll post the few pics I have of the ceremony site, sorry they aren't the best.

This is the view from the patio where the reception will be. The tiny bit of white in the middle/back of the picture is where the ceremony will be.

This is the middle garden. It''s between the reception area and the ceremony area.

Congrats on getting so much accomplished! I''m a little envious of your date; it was our first choice for sentimental reasons but unfortunately we had to change it.

This is the date we wanted, but never really said we did. We picked out the 9th or the 30th, but ended up with our original date. We like it because 16 is our number! Sorry the date didn't work for you, but I guess it's the guy that matters, not the date

Congrats on getting so much done! Setting the date is such an important step. For me, it was the most exciting part (so far). Your venue looks just beautiful--I especially like the house. I''m sure you will have a wonderful celebration there.
