Went to the Pearl Paradise site--found two awesome bracelets--one black baroque pearls and leather...and the other golden tahitian pearl and leather.....texted GF to ask if she wanted one....she couldn't answer as she was driving so I quickly dipped into the shower...and when I came back someone had bought the golden bracelet....RIGHT out of my cart! hehehheeee

Didn't need it apparently.... the black one is awesome and I think it was 40% off.

Also, I believe my DH bought another giant screen TV...and I see there is a bottle of champagne on the counter so I suspect it is true--going to "ply" me into agreement

Candles! I forgot about candles! I've tried a lot and I think that I love Pier One candles the best. The smell is most potent and the wax never oozes down the side and just stays in the middle where its supposed to be. They were having a sale before Black Friday and I got a candle for $2 dollars.

Where do you shop for candles? I'm always trying to find a good place that offers amazing candles

I loooooove Ebates. Sometimes I forget to use it, so I posted a reminder for myself on my computer table. It's like free money!

I got a great deal on studs from Kate Spade (70 percent off) for one of my bridesmaids' gifts. I also got 30% off and free shipping at Children's Place for some things for my nieces and nephews. Kohl's is doing no minimum shipping, so I got an ornament for my yearly swap at work for 3 bucks! Man, I love sales.

I also scored a gold and diamond antique stacker on eBay for 60 bucks. But that was just luck. Will post when I receive it!

All of you Ebates folks: Keep a close eye on your purchase credits....I have been having to do the "where's my money" thing for about the last year now on I'd say 75% of my purchases. I go in about every two weeks to make sure I get my credit, and usually at least two of my credits is missing. I asked around online and it's become a serious issue. Either they're not being paid or they're not following up enough on the "contracts" they've signed. My last "big fat check" was about $25 short. They claim this one will be correct and will have that $25 on it. The one before that was off by $17. The one before that was $11 short. They claim every time they'll be fixed. This is the final time I am using the site and if it's not correct I am done. I have not once gotten any referral credit I was owed either. Even with proof I should have gotten it.

I switched to that shop discover thing. Though they need to find a way to show you that you're getting your credit.

In addition to ebates, I use Shop Discover ( for discover card holders). Sometimes their cash rebates are much higher than ebates. Yesterday i purchased a bunch of canvass totes at Lands End since they were giving 30% off and free shipping, plus amother 10% through shop discover and we get points also through Shop Your Way Rewards ( this is through Sears, Kmart, Lands End) . So i earned savings three ways.
