Poll: Which would you rather have for daily wear?

Just curious. Assume near colorless, eye clean H&A diamonds and precision cut, rich medium blue sapphires. Similar price.

I like the diamond idea. Although I don't have much a ear lobe, so I generally go with inside out diamond hoops.

Seriously, for me it would depend on the style of each, but I'm tending towards the sapphires as long as they aren't too dark.

I voted for the bezel studs, because they'll look bigger and give you more bang for your buck ... but if you bezeled the sapphires and they were light/bright, I'd have a harder time making the decision.

I like to wear my diamond cocktail rings the most. i always wear my diamond rings. Sometimes like in the party i like to wear animal shaped cocktail rings the most.

Just visualize the stones in your favorite bezel or prong stud setting.

Gorgeous sapphire - no doubt about it - but I'm still going to stick with my diamond vote!! Something about the classic diamond stud that just tugs at me!!

I no longer wear studs; but if pressed, I'd get diamonds.

Then I would save up for some jackets, then buy the sapphires.

What color is your hair? Because I'd say blue sapphires on anyone with medium-to-dark hair are gonna get lost more. For me, I wouldn't really want sapphire prong set studs period - even though it's my birthstone! And I *have* bezel set old-cut diamonds in about that size & adore them.

I voted diamonds. I don't really like the color blue, so there's that. But diamonds are much more likely to actually work for daily wear--they match everything!

I'm goofy about color mix and matching so I vote the diamonds because they match anything.

I love sapphires and, in most situations, I would pick them, hands down. However, I do think a diamond stud is a classic staple. Also, as mentioned, a nice sapphire wouldn't show up with my dark hair, while a diamond looks great.

I voted diamonds! Sapphires are beautiful, but I just love the classic look of diamond studs, and they go with anything!

I LOVE sapphires but I chose the bezeled studs. They'd go with everything else you wore, whereas I'd think you'd be a bit more limited wearing sapphire earrings.
