Our wedding is this September (25th) and it will be very small (26 people). We don't have bridesmaids/groomsmen so we never really picked colors. But I am fixated on a dark purple bouquet. And we will have magenta or dark pink baby rosebud thingies floating in hurricane glasses on tables.

Espressa, I'm having the same problem about the dark purple bouquet ideas. There is one thread here with some pretty inspirations. Did you see it?

ETA: Here is the link. It's Rockzilla's thread: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/purple-green-wedding-colors-ideas.82254/

My wedding is in December and my colors are a deep red (cabernet) and black. White and gold will make appearences throughout the venue in my decorations, but really I''m pretty simple. The bridesmaids will be in long, black silk gowns (actually very pretty IMO) and will carry deep red amaryllis bouqets. I will have a large red rose bouqet. Our table linens will be black with white square china and large red floral centerpeices in clear square modern vases. I thoght about going with the typical winter theme, ice blue, silver, etc.. but opted not to!

Ok at fieryred''s request-one of my inspiration collages:

Freke - the table setup in the bottom of your collage looks like mine except my china is square! Well, that and my centerpeices are pretty large and red! But the colors of the linen and the china are the same, at least!! Very pretty collage you made! You sure do love blue!

I''m supposed to make a collage of my colors?

What do you use this for?

i''m doing a marie antoinnette part daytime/part evening outdoor and tented wedding.

I don''t have cool photo collage yet but here''s some swatches!

From L to R:
Summer Green - Ushers Ties
Bonaire Blue - Groomsmens Ties
Bay Blue - Best Man Tie
White - Groom''s Tie (will be same fabric as my dress)
Misty Pink - Man of Honor''s Tie
Watermelon Pink with magenta Sash - Bridesmaids Dress (from Siri)

Bottom swatch is table topper (its flipped over since it should be the pin tuck side that shows up) and the tablecloth underneath will be ivory.

Flowers are feathers, whites, creams, light pinks and a splash of magenta.

DH and I got married on 9/8/07. Our colors were black and white with red accents.

ETA: black BM dresses and red flowers.

my wedding is in the spring (april), and we are doing chocolate brown and apple green. the bridesmaids dresses will be in choc. brown, my dress is champagne, and we''ll carry bright green bouquets. the guys will be in tan/khaki suits with white dress shirts and either some type of brown or green tie (haven''t gotten that far yet)

for the reception, we''ll be using bright green and white flowers with either white or brown table linens. we''re also planning on having our cake iced in chocolate icing.

We''re going black, red, tangerine - with a splash of gold.

Right now we''re a year away and still have to decide between two different color schemes.

#1. Fuschia, black, ivory
#2. Pinks, sage green, ivory

I''m leaning toward #2, but fiance is big on the bright colors, so we aren''t sure yet.

Right now...pink, green, ivory, and silver.

ETA: June wedding. And marchswallowbird you don't have to make a collage. It's just helpful if you do because you can take it to meet with vendors and whatnot and it helps give them ideas. I haven't made one yet though.

What do you use this for?
Did someone tell you you were "supposed to?"

I''ve used mine with the baker and the florist, to help give them an idea of what else is going on in the wedding. For me though, it''s been most useful just as away to visualize everything together and make sure that everything fits the way I think it will

Thanks, that makes sense. I had never heard of a collage before. But then I''d never heard of a card box either, before I read about one somewhere. Something else that probably makes sense.

my colors are blue and white and my wedding is in Sep 09 which is just the start of Spring. I saved some pictures I found online and now that I made a mini collage, I see that there can be quite some different blues. but anyway, here are some pictures I liked.

My bridesmaids will be wearing champagne colored dresses with a black slash. My flowers will be dark red roses. My will be in the summer. One more month.

I was supposed to have a color scheme????

I suppose the scheme turned out to be black and white with flashes of color, which is totally appropriate because that would also accurately describe my wardrobe. All of the table linens were black and white, the invites were black with white engraving, the flowers were white (Calla Lillies and Star of Bethlehem) and my bridesmaids wore all different colors--pale pink, bolder pink, ice blue, lavender, pale green, and light champagne, I think.

We were married on July 4th.

Oh, and I wore green shoes. :)

Hi, my colours are black, white, pink and green (maybe lime green)

I'm getting married on September 6th of this year (woohoo 6 weeks away!!). My colors are Red and Aqua, with some Chocolate brown where needed. Our wedding is not quite fall, but not really summer either. I wanted colors that would stand out against each other, while still remaining warm and classy.

Our reception is in an outdoor tent.

The MOH is wearing an aqua gown with a brown sash (I couldn't get her to choose a red sash, she didn't like the colors together).

FI is wearing a black suit with a solid red tie. The Best Man is wearing the same suit, with an aqua tie.

Every single flower in the wedding will be a shade of red. From bright red to deep maroon. I will be carrying baccaria roses (blood red). The centerpieces will be mixed red flowers and curly willow branches (to catch a little autumn feel).

we are getting married in the fall (but in florida, where seasons don''t really exist) and our colors are yellow and gray.

here''s a really roughly put together inspiration board.

this shows our actual bridesmaids dresses.
and that me in my dress, and that is our venue.
all the other pictures are pretty random.

ooops!

We were just married 3 weeks ago in Mexico, and these were our colors:

Mine is 7/25 and the colors are ivory, brown and gold.

We just got married on July 4th. Our colors were ivory and apple green with accents of chocolate brown and turquoise.

We getting married in May of 2009. We are doing white, slate blue, and silver. The flowers will be all white, we are doing silver chivari chairs, silver centerpieces with 1/2 candleabras and 1/2 tall pilars, white tablecloths with slate blue pooling in the center, and bm dresses in slate blue. Our ballroom is a very neutral beige color so I think our colors will work well in there :) Our flowers will be gardenias, hydrangeas, white roses, stephanotis, and orchids. We are also doing lots of pearl accents- for cocktail tables we are doing floating gardenias in glass bowls with loose pearls at the bottom.

our wedding is Aug 31 and the colors are ivory, white, soft pink and chocolate brown; if I could do two weddings, my second choice of colors would be all the colors of a peacock feather (jewel tones like purple, teal, chartreuse, etc)

I love the idea of chartruse(sp) yellow and platinum - with lemons, curly willow and orchids in the floral arrangements and centerpieces. Might be too trendy though....

Also looking into deep pink, platinum and ivory- with LOTS of peonies! My favorite flower....

Or green-very clean and modern....

Wedding is May 2009 in Houston
