What is your color scheme? What color will the bridesmaids dresses be? Please also share what season your wedding will be in. Mine is in fall but I don''t want to do the traditional fall colors, so I''m hoping to get ideas from y''all.

Regardless of season, my colors will be all bright colors of blue, silver, black and white. The bridesmaid will be in a black dress maybe with a bright blue sash and silver strappy shoes.

I can get away with that because I'm probably only having my BFF as a MOH. And she's not going to say no to getting a new little black dress and new shoes.

Our wedding is in the spring and our colors are platinum grey (darker than silver and lighter than charcoal) and apple green. The BM dresses are in a color called "Cement".

despite our october wedding, our colors are eggplant, royal blue, aqua, and chartreuse.

Late Sept.

Burgandy, Grape, Ivory, Gold

Wedding is 9/13 (less than 2 months!!)

My favorite colors are orange, sage green and yellow (gold). Conveniently, my favorite month is October.

Hence, our October wedding with orange, sage green and gold colors

Our wedding is April 25th and our colors are Fuschia, Hot orange, and black. The bridesmaids dresses will be fuschia and I''m unsure of the shoe color, but probably fushia as well. The bm bouquets will be pink and orange!

Our wedding is in October, and our colors are liberty blue, ivory, gold, deep red and a muted lime green. The girls are wearing liberty blue (kind of a cross between peacock and marine blue) and carrying deep red and pink flowers mixed in with blue hypernicum (sp) berries and lime accents. Our table linens are ivory with iridescent peacock blue crush overlays.

dark dark maroon and lime green. our wedding day is the saturday before christmas though!

Cardinal and gold, like our alma mater!

It would be an October wedding, maybe Nov or Late Sept. I love fall.

But that is all a dream. I really want to elope, and will just get any ole white dress and get married on a beach with no "colors" or "wedding" at all.

Just us and some cupcakes. Maybe they will be cardinal and gold!

I'm getting married in September and my colors are sage green, chocolate, cream and deep fuschia. Since my wedding is in '09 I haven't figured everything out yet, but my maid of honor (no other bridesmaids) will wear a sage green. I want the bouquets and centerpieces to be mostly sage and cream with a few bright spots of fuschia. Not sure about the invites yet; they will be some combination of chocolate, sage green and cream. Oh, and since fall doesn't begin until Sept. 20, I am technically getting married in summer, my favorite season.

wedding late october....we will be using dark red, burnt orange, and ivory.

Purple, red, and pink, in various shades. It''s a May wedding. I am only having one attendant, and she will most likely wear a deep purple dress.

8 days time... arrrrgggghhhhh!

Dress: Ivory and Gold

Flowers: Yellow, Orange, Coral, Cream and lots of herbs and ivy.

Bridesmaids: Lavender blue.

Here's my collage - all my colours were taken from the painting at the bottom. It's 27ft by 17ft and the second largest picture in the UK. It hangs where the altar would be in a church (my venue is 13th century and looks like a church even though it isn't - it was built on the site of the Battle of Hastings in 1066 hence the rather gory subject matter. I love it!)

My wedding will be this October - and the colors are purple, red, and a few touches of yellow. . .the one bridesmaid will be in a dark purple dress with an apple red sash and our flowers are purple irises, red gerbera daisies, and a few sunflowers.

We''re getting married next week, and because we were planning a summer wedding, initially I wanted warm summer colors, like orange and red and yellow. But I couldn''t find anything I liked in those shades, and my BMs were pretty much opposed anyway (we''re all pale New England girls-bright colors are maybe not the nicest contrast to milk white, freckled skin), haha.

So instead my sister and I came up with Champagne, with lilac and silver accents. Dresses are various shades of Champagne (I let them chose their own dresses!), purple rose bouquets, and BM gifts were sterling silver rings and bracelets with different precious stones for each girl. I''m SO excited to see how everyone looks, and how our reception will look. We went for a French country cafe theme, so our centerpieces are champagne bottles surrounded by purple roses on round mirrors with wrought iron candleabras.

The wedding is August 2 (16 days!) and our colours are pale blue, sapphire blue and yellow with touches of white. M dress is white and pale blue (Alfred Angelo''s blue pastel colour), my BMs'' dresses are sapphire blue (Alfred Angelo''s indigo colour), and we''ll be using white and yellow daisies everywhere.

I think someone needs to attach their beautiful color collage

My honey wants red, black, and white. Why? Because those are the colors of the Miami Heat

We''ll probably go with a very dark red (it''ll be in December)

I got married this May. My colors were black, white, and dark pink with hints of silver. The bridesmaids'' dresses were dark pink with light pink sashes. The groomsmen wore black tuxes with black ties and vests, and hubby wore a black tux with a silver tie and vest. The bridesmaids'' bouquets were dark pink roses, the boutonnieres were dark pink roses, my bouquet was predominantly dark pink but had some medium a little light pink mixed in, as well. At the reception, the centerpieces were dark pink, the tablecloths were white, the napkins were black, and the flatware and chargers were silver.

Here is a picture of me with my sister/bridesmaid so you can see the bouquets and bridesmaid dress colors (my two bridesmaids wore different dress styles in the same colors from Ann Taylor''s Celebration''s collection).

This Bridal Party picture is the inspiration for our colors for our August 29 wedding: light sage, black, white

We''re getting married August 22, and our colors are black and white (damask print), with deep red accents.

My bridesmaids are wearing black satin kneelength dresses of their own choosing. The groomsmen and FI are wearing very traditional black tuxes & bowties, white pocket squares for the boys and red pocket square for the groom.

The bridesmaids'' bouquets are white roses, white cymbidium orchids with red centers, white mini callas, and a few black magic roses, wrapped in black ribbon. I have a black magic and cherry love roses (all red) bouquet.

For the reception we have black & white damask runners, with alternating tall and short centerpieces with black magic and cherry love roses; and the tall pieces have hanging crystals as well as james storrie orchids in the vase.

Oh, and I have red shoes!

We''re getting married October 9th and our colors are dark purple, wine/burgundy, and silver. I also really didn''t want to do the typical fall colors - they just weren''t what I had in mind.

I''m only having a MOH (my sister) and her dress is a dark, but somewhat bright purple. It''s a silk dress from Banana Republic (I really didn''t want her to have a typical bridesmaid dress since it''s just her, and this way she can definitely wear it again). This was the closest thing to my colors that we could find off the rack, so we went with it.

I think FI''s best man will be wearing a silver tie. We''re buying the tie for him (he''s wearing a suit, although FI will be in a tux) and there''s no way I can match the purple in my sister''s dress so it doesn''t seem worth it to go for purple, especially when there''s no chance he would ever wear the tie again. A nice silver silk tie will get much more use.

Flowers have been difficult. It seems really hard to find dark purple flowers (or any photos of dark purple bouquets - I''ve been able to find maybe 5 total that are anywhere near the colors I like). Magazines never have dark purple flowers, it''s always lilac or lavender. Either that or I do find a bouquet with dark purple in it, but it''s more blue based than red/burgundy. Since I will not be meeting with my florist until 5 days before the wedding (destination wedding) I''m just taking a leap of faith that it will all work out ok!

Sorry that was so long, the flower situation is really pissing me off at the moment...

I rarely post, but I wanted to add my $0.02 because I''m getting married late September 2009 and have had my own issues with picking fall colors that aren''t too over-the-top fall. My current plan is to do navy bridesmaid dresses and have the flowers be mid to deep orange. My FI loves the navy/orange idea because his favorite college team is Syracuse who are blue and orange

Silly boys. I''m not really concerned with any other accent colors yet ... that will probably depend on the location we finally choose.

Good luck with your color selection!

We''ll be getting married in either late fall or early spring, and the colors will be dark red, chocolate brown, gold, ivory and black. No pretty collage from me though, boo.

I think the girls will wear red, maybe black, but FSIL had black BM dresses. Still a toss up!

So far our colors are black, white, silver, and red. My dress will be white and black and my bridesmaids dresses will be black. My daughter''s flower girl dress will be red and white and our flowers are still undecided. I''m thinking red roses with maybe a few oranges and yellows mixed in? Heck if I know just yet...

Ours will be soft yellows, ivory, browns and light green. We are limited due to the fact that our venue has a lot of yellow and browns in it.

I forgot to add that we'll be getting married on 3/13/09 in the Valley of Fire just outside of Las Vegas right around sunset.
