Holy wow, I had no idea about this and only just noticed it when someone else posted above me. Karl, all of my positive thoughts and well wishes are going out to you, I am so sorry you're going through this, and I hope, hope, hope that you get well soon! I also want to wish Wifey2Be lots of strength, courage, and patience and the ability to withstand whatever comes your ways and I ask the powers that be to take good care of both of you and your families and friends. I'm very worried and will anxiously await the receipt of good news. Get well soon!!!
Karl, Uppy and I thought of you just yesterday while looking at a gorgeous 1.68 carat Royal Asscher that we decided even you would approve of.
Take it easy and get well. I don't have asthma, but I've had pneumonia, and that was quite enough. I can only imagine the two of those together. So REST and recover!
I haven't been on this weekend as I was out of town, but Lisa was kind enough to loop me in and I've been praying for your strong recovery Storm!
Hoping that you continue to gain strength and are soon up to snuff and able to go home where you can be comfortable.
Agree with Garry, though - you need to REST. Pneumonia is nothing to fool with; my dad had it 2 years ago and spent 5 days in hospital, and it was a good three weeks at home before he really started feeling his energy come back.
I heard this morning that his numbers were dropping. He really has to focuss on his breathing and getting rest. I probably won't have another update till tomorrow. But if I hear anything, of course will let you all know.
His breathing is much better!!!! The nurse heard very little weazing, so a very good sign... He's on pain meds for pain, headache, etc... He's got to sleep some more... And isn't eating much, but ya know what they say about hospital food... Family brought him a Pepsi, you know he loves that... I am sure that perked him right up..
He may be released tomorrow.... I think too soon, but what do I know, LOL...
