Since I know some of you gals have a great eye for photography...I thought I''d ask for your opinions on these Houston photographers that I am considering.

I have one that''s my favorite...but they''re more on the pricey side so I wanted to see what you guys liked because I''m sure many of you guys can judge better than I can!

Hello! Sorry it took me so long to respond. Based on wedding photos alone I really like Morgan Lynn the most also. I can''t remember what it was, but something about the second one bothered me (I think it was all the detail shots, sometimes you can do too many detail shots). The third had way too many awkward angles. The last one is good, but it''s really hard to judge them against Morgan without a full sample album. All I could find was the various wedding photos they stuck together.

So here''s my advice: meet Morgan Lynn and Estrella Photography if you haven''t already and make a decision based on in-person chemistry with each photographer/set of photographers. Make sure you meet with the photographer that would be working on your wedding! If you can''t meet them, then set up a phone consultation.

I could tell from at least two photographers I spoke with we wouldn''t work well together pretty quickly. We just had so many awkward silences, and I tend to be a pretty talkative person! But then the photographer I picked I clicked with well even though our personalities are pretty different. I think I am making sense. Anyway, let me know if you have any other questions!

Wow Sarah thanks so much for your reply! That helps so much...since I know I don''t know much about photography at all. But yea, I have to say Morgan Lynn is my favorite and she is probably the most pricey. I thought Cherish Moments was decent for their price...which is very good. And Estrella is good too and has a really good price. But I''ll definitely take your advice and contact them...but weddings not til probably Oct 2009! I just like looking at photographers now.

No problem! You definitely have some time, but don''t wait too long. I booked my videographer recently and someone was already looking at my date...I was like:

. Haha! I''d start meeting with people and planning to start signing contracts around October-November of this year. A good year out is a good time to start with the contract stuff. They''ll probably want you to have a venue first if you don''t already. But anyway, looks like you''ve got some great options!!
