I want everything to look super awesome, but I don''t really have the financial resources for all of the awesome stuff I like. So with the help of projectwedding.com, I took on some DIY projects. I must say, they all were so much fun! I''m a crafty person, so I had a blast with all of these.

First are my DIY signature drink cards.

I forgot my impostor ''calligraphy''.
This is actually a really cool project. I printed my addresses on the envelopes with a color a few shades lighter than the envelope. I bought metallic aqua blue (one of my colors, although the ink doesn''t look that blue) calligraphy ink from the ''net, and traced over the printed information, and voila! Easy DIY calligraphy!

Luckyeshe, thanks!! I got the idea for the cake topper from the same website as all of the other ideas, but I bought the topper itself from weddingcuts.com who were awesome to deal with! It has two metal stands at the bottom where it will be put into the top of the cake.

I was thinking about that quite a few times, but I know that once school starts for ''09-''10, I will be all consumed and will not have any time to focus on the little projects of the wedding until after school is over. I just got this stuff out of the way because it''s so easy to store until the wedding.
