I had my hair trial this weekend. Overall, I''m really happy with it. I wanted the front to be more piece-y with the pieces curled, but my stylist told me that to do that, she''d really need to cut some long bangs, which she will do the day of the wedding. Also, it was a little weird because she curled the back with a straightening iron, and I think I will ask her to use a curling iron on the day of so that it will be a little more curly. The last pic is after a wedding I attended and being in a car for 1.5 hours in 80 degree heat with me sweating, and it still held up!

You have really beautiful hair! I kind of like the way the curls look - incredible that was done with a flat iron! The only thing I might change is maybe get some more fullness at the back so it doesn''t look like a narrow line going down the middle of your back. I don''t know if I''m describing it well - just thought you might like it to fan out a little more at the sides, rather than go straight down in a narrow line. But I do think it looks really pretty. Also, it looks like you are in great shape - you are looking rather trim, and you will be a beautiful bride!!

It''s beautiful! I know what Krissie means by the narrow line -- I kind of thought the same thing. It''s very pretty though!

One question -- how does one use a straightening iron to curl hair?

Did you do something to it before you went to the wedding? It almost looks curlier in the last pic.

Zoe, it was really cool to watch the stylist make the curls with the flat iron. I remember a guy int he mall doing it to my hair once at one of those little kiosks. I couldn''t make my flat iron do it if my life depended on it though.

Thanks Krissie, Zoe, and Robbie! I see what you mean about the narrowness, Krissie and Zoe, but that''s actually a side effect of one of the features that I love most about the hairstyle. I had been debating about having my hair all up or half up. I really wanted half up, but worried that having the hair hanging on my neck and back would not work out because I tend to sweat a lot and HATE the feeling of hair sticking to my sweaty neck. So she actually pinned a lot of the hair up under the loose part so that it was up off my neck. I was amazed that the only time I felt my hair sticking to me all night during the wedding I was at was after a very energetic dance session of Shout, YMCA, and other such dances all in a row. I probably would like the look of the hair better if it was fanned out more, but I *think* I''m willing to sacrifice that to avoid sweaty hair-gross!

That''s a good point. I see what you mean now, and it makes sense. I do really love the ''do -- just wanted to let you know that.

I absolutely love it! You have gorgeous hair!

WOW, that looks awesome Sabine!! You have the most beautiful, shiny, healthy-looking hair!
