Wedding Picked up my dress!

Yay, I picked up my dress! I had a somewhat not fun time at Davids...which was mostly my own fault. We got to town a couple hours early, so I called to see if I could pick up the dress and try it on quick, or if they were too busy and would rather me wait until my scheduled appointment time. They said they weren''t busy, so to come on in whenever. Well, I think a bunch of folks came in off the street at about the time I was getting laced up, so when I stepped out of the dressing room, there was a huge crowd. Now, I have this panic moment when I feel like I''m in the way. Plus, there were so many people that I was worried they''d step on my train or something equally traumatic. Also, the awesome 1000000 watt lights they use always make me all hot and yucky feeling. However, we got a few pictures!!

The lighting is different in the pics, because some of them are in the actual dressing room. It was the only place I could escape the masses. The actually color of the dress is a light ivory with some champagne details in the beading.

The full view of the front. Its last because I''m not thrilled with the way I look. I was frustrated and hot. Also, I hope to lose some of the arm chunkies and stuff before next June.

Its weird. I feel like from the back it looks like I''m my normal 6'' tall self, but from the front I look much shorter. Isn''t that weird? It might not help that my mom is like 4''11'''' and was taking pictures from the level of my knees.

) I kept asking her to maybe try another angle, but she is camera challenged. Love her to pieces, though!

You look great!! I can completely relate to the short person = goofy camera angle problem. My maid of honor and mom are both barely over 5'', and, especially when they''re close to me, photos they take of me make me look shorter than I am. It''s annoying, but I just have to remind myself that a shorty took the photo.
