When I bought the place I'm in now The Whole Damn Thing was painted that color!!! I'm all for a little greenery but this was like a Tarzan episode come to life. I wanted to get myself a pet monkey and run around the house in a cheetah bikini. Now everything has been painted various shades of grey. Hmmm... wonder what that says about me...

That's way too much green. I've done a half bath in a similar shade and rooms in something related but much more subtle and that's plenty. Otherwise you feel like you're living in the Emerald City. (Which I could handle but it ain't for everybody.)

I like neutrals with big color statements from a turquoise dining room table, or a fuschia chair. Bright wall color makes me twitchy.

I have wrongly assumed all these years that it is driven by fashion and interior design trends.

Not a colour I can wear as it is too yellow for my skintone.
