How''s your son getting along these days?
I''m sure there are more of us Crohnies on PS, but your son is the only one I''m aware of.

I was admiring your photos! You need to post some more pretties!

Well hello Pink Tower! Do you have Crohn''s then? My son is doing much better as far as his Crohn''s disease goes, but now the doctors are concerned about bone damage to his hip from when he was on steriods in the hospital. He is in the process of getting a second opinion on treatment options. How about you? And thank you for the compliments on my pictures!!!

Yes, I have it, too!
I am doing well this year. I know about the hip pain, and I think steroids did the same thing to my hips. Funny, the bone density tests show more problems in the spine, and yet the spine does not hurt at all!
I had been wondering how he was; I was a long lurker before I ever posted. I am glad his Crohn''s is abated now. Hope he is enjoying himself these days. Tell him my own college kid is buddies with a boy with Crohn''s, and they plan to room together next fall. So, I guess I taught him empathy!
Hope to see you posting more often. I have a project in the works, and I will have some photos in July.

It is good that you are doing well now Pink. Dealing with my son''s condition has given me a new empathy for people with chronic health conditions. It will be nice for your son''s roommate to live with someone who understands what he is going through. My son really hasn''t had any hip pain, but the damage revealed itself during a routine CT scan. Apparently this is not uncommon with steriods.

I look forward to seeing your new project when it is complete. In the meantime it would be great if you could post some pictures of your engagement ring, that amazing sounding eternity band, and some of your colored stone pieces for all of us to enjoy!
