Hey Gypsy, I''ve got a quick question.

At work we''re passing out flowers to each mother in our department tomorrow for Mother''s Day. They haven''t really bloomed, and I remember you saying there was a way to basically shock them open. How do you do that? I think it was warm or cold water, but I can''t remember which.

Warmth. It's a few days to Mother's Day. Leave them out someplace warm (room temperature) and they should be fine-- depending on the type of flowers. If you really get stressed you can try a hair dryer.... but keep it indirect and from a distance-- don't cook them. :-)

They''re being passed out tomorrow, so the people handing them out wanted to have them look as pretty as possible. I''ll let them know that warmth is the key. Thanks!

One thing. You don''t want them to blow before Sunday. So if they are not ''at their best'' tomorrow... that''s a GOOD thing. They should be at their best for Sunday. So I wouldn''t speed up the process unless on Saturday evening they are stilll really tight.
