Outgoing prayers to the victims of Morakot

Typhoon Morakot has caused unimaginable damage to many parts of Asia (including my hometown). Thousands are still missing/dead with countless homes and infrastructure lost and damaged. My thoughts and prayers are with these people.

Oh Zhu, so hard to see!

Taiwan is such a gorgeous place with an amazing infrastructure and heavily educated population. It is hard to see that in these photos...the devastation is just incomprehensible.

Yes life is definitely very fragile and unpredictable. I am very proud of the organization and outpouring of donation and support from within the country. May those with families/friends suffering from this disaster find calmness and peace and recover stronger than before.
