I hope you read this. I want to let you know I support what you are doing. When I first was hospitalized with Crohn''s, nearly two years ago, I realized how much I love my work. The reality that I could lose my independence in the blink of an eye was devastating.
In order to continue to work, my doctor helped me to understand that I had to give up everything except my family and my work. No community service, no volunteer work at my children''s school, no...anything. It was very hard, and abrupt. I still sound apologetic when I have to say no, but I do say no.
I miss you already, Crohn''s sister.

I''m not letting you go! Hope you know that you''ve meant the world to me with your warm hugs and loving care for me during the lowest points in my fight with my illnesses. Having to simplify my life was extremely difficult, at first, but I''m grateful to be able to get out of bed each day and your positive attitude has inspired me on my worst days.

You are such a positive person and I can''t imagine someone being negative towards you, but we are all unique and have our own viewpoints. I treasure our convos and know that we will have many more......trust me, there will be many more!
