Oscar Heyman, one of my favorite jewelers, was founded in 1912 and celebrates 100 years this year.

"Oscar Heyman will celebrate its 100th anniversary this spring by launching a new look – an updated logo, a refreshed website, new designs, an ad campaign and by unveiling the Oscar Heyman 100th Anniversary Collection."

Their updated website is here.

I joined their mailing list and got a very nice email from them.

I'm making this post primarily to let everyone know that you can see many pieces on their updated website that haven't been seen before.

The pictures aren't very big when I click on them but I learned a trick (at least this is how it works on my computer). What you do is set whatever picture you want to see as your desktop and you get a large, clear picture.

Enjoy!

wow....

They sure do a halo setting like nobody else, don't they? ai yi yi! I cruised thru the site and decided I need to rob a bank or two .... (Think I'll spend the holiday monday in "planning mode" to pull off my big heist!!! )

Thank you! You know, 4th of July is coming and they have patriotic jewels... ;))

Oh, the piece seems attractive

I made some of these pieces my desktop and just stared at them and drooled. There's an emeralds and gold pendant shaped like a basket with the emeralds as flowers. Take a look at that up close. It's like something they would put in a museum after finding a treasure trove from some long ago civilization. These people are just unbelievably good at what they do. They cut their own stones except diamonds, they alloy their own metals, and they make their own tools. Not only that but they're really nice people. I talked to one of them on the phone. He might have been one of the family members. He was just incredibly gracious. Two of the family members "signed" their email. The email welcomed me to the "Oscar Heyman community". I wish. LOL! The only price I've seen so far is a pansy brooch made with platinum, sapphires, and diamonds. It was approximately $30,000. Sigh. :))

I was lucky enough to sell some of their pieces back in the day. Nicest jewelry ever!!

You are lucky! I'd like just to be able to hold this jewelry in my hand and spend some time looking at it.
