Wedding Ordered my dress!

Okay, so I unexpectedly fell in love with and ordered a wedding dress. I wasn''t even looking, and my mom and aunt and I were out shopping and they encouraged me to look at some. Then it was, "just try some on, so you know if you like the style." Well, the fifth one I tried was the winner. It has a corset top and a tied back. I ordered it in Ivory with champagne accents. I didn''t bring a camera due to the fact that I had no intention of trying any on, but here''s a pic of the dress on someone else. I will take pics when I go in for my fitting. I also ordered a veil...but I drew the line when my mom started encouraging me to get the tiara and shoes, too! Too many unexpected decisions for one day!

Thanks everybody! Its not what I expected to pick at all, but I love how it looks! Sometimes its really true that someone can pick better for you than you can for yourself. I thought I wanted something flowy or mermaidish, but they didn''t look right on me at all. This has enough structure to give me the shape I like and still has enough movement to make me feel free.

IWPO - It is from the dreaded Davids Bridal (screams and shrieks, I know), but I was on a pretty strict budget and just about passed out when I went to the couture store and they showed my mom an $8000 dress. I hope I didn''t go too far to the other end of the spectrum, but I love the dress and it only has to hold up for like 8 hours of wear. I was expecting horrible things from some of the stories I''ve heard on here, but they were actually the most friendly people I worked with of the three places I visited. Anyway, I hope nothing goes wrong...but I have a year if it does.

SarahLovesJS - Thanks so much. I feel silly for not taking a camera, but I had absolutely no idea we''d have time to look. We were in Rochester on another shopping mission. We were buying stuff for my aunt''s new apartment in Bulgaria. She moves in August. I will for sure take pics at my fitting.
