what type of car did he drive? what year was his car? what color was it?

90s Buick LeSabre I think, blue.

I started dating way before anyone had a car lol, but my first bf with a car had a white '95 Ford Taurus hatchback.

Why do you assume he even had a car? ;))

Too young for cars.

'68 camaro (or it could have been a Pontiac Firebird...can't recall) and it was white w red interior. Growled when it started and when like gangbusters!! I LOVED IT!!!

Oh gess DF now your really jogging my brain, hum let's see I think it was a Kawasaki that he put together himself can't remember the color or year, wait the blue Kawasaki he put toghether himself and no not a car, the car I think was a cream color 79 Monte Carlo which the poor fool sold so he could buy me an engagement ring............ I'll have to ask him later I'm sure he remembers the details better than I do lol

Wow, that goes wayyyy back. It was a '58 Volkswagen bug in blue. :appl:

You need to be at least 17 to drive a car here, so no car at that point. ;))

A red Mustang. He was pretty hot stuff!

he had a 1974 Nova, it was a burgandy/red color with multiple rust spots

No car for me either.

My first real boyfriend drove a red Pontiac Sunbird. Probably a 90s make.

so what color was his bicycle?...

A 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt, forest green (the only color it came in).

My first handful of boyfriends didn't drive. First few were in middle school. I had 2 longer termed boyfriends in HS, but they were also not driving yet. The first guy I dated that drove was a senior when I was a junior. He drove a souped up Civic EG hatchback. He loved that piece of shit for some ridiculous reason. He took out EVERYTHING, including the A/C, just so that it can run faster. YEAH. I'm so not okay with dating guys who will make me suffer in SoCal summer 100+ degree heat with no air conditioning!! That guy skipped his own senior prom to use the $$$ towards fixing up his car. No clue what year it was.. it was a purple-y blue. He insisted it was blue, I insisted it was indigo. anyway.. NEXT!!

I then dated a guy who had fixed up his own ancient Subaru.. No clue what year, but I know it's pre-1989, since his father owned it prior to his existence.. It was black.

then a guy who drove his family Caravan to provide transportation for his loads of siblings. It was an ugly rape-van looking thing. Brown. Ugly. Barely worked. No clue what year.

then a guy who didn't have a car when I met him, but finally got a beater Camry by the time our relationship fizzled. It was a mid-90's Camry. Gold.

then a guy who had an old VW beetle from the 80's that he fixed up.. Baby blue. No idea what year.

I finally settled for the guy who drove an exotic car. It wasn't the car that got me, though. I can def say I'm not a judge of who I should date based on what they drive, from my track record! In fact, before I even met SO, my friends were nudging me on, trying to uptalk him about what car he drove… and I automatically said "NO!" for fear of meeting a complete dick bag jerk face. It was orange. It's an '06, I think.

I live in Europe in a capital city = no car

Only one of my friends has a SO with a car, he is not originally from the capital and they live more towards the suburbs. The only time you would actually have use for a car is for a monthly shop and for visiting relatives in the suburbs/country. Underground and buses is the name of the game over here and I guess in most big cities.

Although the US are car crazy so I guess that could explain LA and the like. What other country in the world lets you drive a car at 16 but you have to wait till 18 to vote and to 21 to drink?

Probably 2001. And Electron Blue Pearl. I know this because I have a 2001 Prelude that is the same color. And I feel similarly about my car, minus the taking out the A/C.

1980 Volvo. White.

1972 Chevy Vega - blue

He took out EVERYTHING. There were no backseats. Nothing. LOL! It was literally a shell of a car + an engine, I swear. Just googled Electron Blue Pearl. That's EXACTLY IT! lol. We got into multiple bickers (friendly, not serious) over what color the car is, lol! I hope you don't take out everything in the car! I thought it was the weirdest thing.

ETA: Hope you aren't offended by my POS comment. I didn't mean the car's a POS, I meant his was. Since. It had. No. A/C :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire: and I dated him during the summer!!!!

He didn't have one!

CRX, red, was prob an 80's make though he owned it in the 90s. He was pret-ty co-ol. 2 years older, best in his school at sport, but had to repeat his final year twice. Hmmm. First date he took me to was a party and I remember he bought me a gold ring and flowers for my birthday. Gold was cheaper back then :))

Too young for a car!

No. Not offended. I know my car isn't a POS!

I feel very strongly about my car, but not THAT strongly as to sacrifice my creature comforts for performance. I cannot sacrifice my air conditioning for anything. I actually have not done anything to my car to improve performance. I like to pretend that it doesn't need it. :naughty:

I have put a new stereo in it though. At 10 years old and 55k miles it decided to try to eat my CDs, I wasn't going to put up with that!

ETA: I wouldn't mind getting rid of the backseats though - I swear they are only there for show! Also, the Electron Blue Pearl was only in the Prelude, CR-V and Civic for one year. It was also the last year the Prelude was in production in the USA. Then they brought in the S2000, which is also no longer with us. I HAD to have that color. GAH!

It was a pearl white 1994 300zx. It was lowered and had just the right about of aftermarket products without making it look overworked. I loved this car! He sold it a couple years back. We got so many compliments.... I still miss her!

Yugo 45 - red

No cars for me! I didn't date a guy with a car until college. My first date was my prom my sophomore year and we took a combination of cabs and the MRT (metro/subway/whatever you call it in your city).

College BF had a 2001 Corolla, and current BF doesn't have a car. Honestly, as nice as it is sometimes to have a car, after living in a city without one for the last 3 months, I don't miss it. I would sell my car and move to a city where I don't need one in a second!

Car? What car?

It was a Harley Davidson. :sun:

My first boyfriend's dad chauffeured us everywhere it was a little Lime-green Mercedes, C 230 or something like that, back in the 80's when I was in middle school.
