How amazing!! Have you any idea of the date? I have never seen anything like that before - you should take it to the Antiques Roadshow!
Pretty table! I bought a table very similar to this at an antique show for my friend...a long time ago..I knew she would like it. It was described to be made somewhere in the 1930s. The one I purchased was walnut. It’s so nice that it was passed down to you!
Try to search it underneath for a signature. Best search it with tip of finger!
I agree probably 1930's and walnut. Can you find any markings at all--maybe under the top or under the removable tray? Here are some similar tables:

If you google French Renaissance carved glass top table you may be able to find an image that gives more info on manufacturers or maybe the same image in the carving?
Everyone hit the nail on the head, 1930s.
My grandma had a similar one, but the carved design depicted two love birds.
My uncle sat on it and cracked the glass, and it had to be replaced....my parents still have it.
Yours is really nice!
@stracci2000: Thanks for the information. Luckily this one is in great shape. Look at this I found in my Dad’s workshop.![]()
