I have an Old European Brilliant 1.07ct L that I would like to sell.
Should I list it on Loupetroop or do I just list here? I'm not sure how this works! Thanks!!

List it on loupetroop so people can contact you! You can post pics and specs here for interested parties!!

Ok thank you!!!! I’m going to take pics later with a better camera and post specs. Thanks so much!

Me too!!!! I think L colored OECs are my absolute fav.
That’s what mine is, but it’s only a 1.01 and I’ve been thinking of matching it. But it’s so funny how the different cut styles of oec affect color. Not to mention settings!

Fingers crossed it’s a match! This might be your lucky day!!!

Thank you!!

Your photos are quite blurry. You would probably get more interest with a loupe troop posting and better photos.

What are you looking for price point wise?

thank you for the advice. Wow they do look blurry! Is that one any better? I will keep trying for better pics!

I do have GIA cert as well.

I’m hoping to get around $4000 but will certainly consider strong offers.
I wish I could take better pictures.

How about sharing the GIA report. If you like, you can blur out the report number, but buyers will want to see the plot detail.

For example, this is the plot detail I’m looking for when I search for stones:DF9E222D-935E-414C-848B-341F64D92CDF.jpeg

What does your GIA certificate say about Clarity and the Girdle? Can you provide the GIA certificate number?

I do not see any flaws with my naked eye, but I am no pro!!

I think with some better pictures of the stone and the scan of your GIA report, you could list them on loupetroop and begin getting offers. It might be a bit of a challenge to get the price you wanted for it given it’s I1 clarity, but if you are flexible on the price, there will be a buyer out there. If loupetroop doesn’t work, there’s always consignment. Good luck and best wishes!

I have a GIA certified 1.5ct M I1 OEC and if I were to sell it, I would start pricing at $3k. *Maybe* $3500 including the setting, but that’s as high as I would ask for my 1.5ct.

This is a threadjack for sure, but what would you think reasonable budget for Edwina’s match, if I can ever find one?

I’m the wrong person to ask. I would browse jewels by grace and see what hers are going for with those specs (her prices will be on the high end of the spectrum). Diamond Zone on eBay is also a good place to find comps. And then of course if you buy privately, the price drops lower from there.

Ok thank you so much! Yes someone once said $5000 per carat and I figured that’s assuming great specs! I will absolutely accept offers!!
I listed in loupetroop and here’s the link
