Omg, yaaay! Ty so much! I am sorry I am so paranoid..I just said some seriously whiny stuff while I was wedding planning and don''t want my face associated with it. Does that make sense?

I admit..I''m a paranoid freak. Lol. Guess I''ll make a good lawyer for that reason?

So how is life, how is planning?!

Lol! Yeah, I have connections. Woot!

Life is yuck at the moment. FI''s mom''s best friend passed away unexpectedly last week. She was found in her apartment after no one had seen her for a couple of days. Luckily we found out the day I was going to send out wedding invitations, so I didn''t mail hers out (she was like a surrogate mom for FI, a friend to his sister, and a surrogate grandma to his sister''s kids after FI''s mom passed away). Turns out she had already made her flight and hotel arrangements to come to our wedding. The worst part about it is that she left behind a son, and they have no other relatives. Her son and FI kind of grew up together, so it''s been hard to watch him go through this. And she and her son were like family to FI and his family. Holidays together and whatnot. And her funeral was Monday night. We have no idea what happened, just that it was natural. Otherwise she was just alive. One of the most alive people I have ever known. One of those older ladies that you watch them and say to yourself, "I hope I''m like her when I grow up."

Anyway, a few days before that, my dad''s secretary of 35 years passed away too. She was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after my mom came out of remission, and she had the surgery and all of that, but it turned out her body couldn''t handle the chemo they put her on, and she had some serious reactions, and had to stop doing it. As a result the cancer went straight to her brain, and she had to stop working and stuff. She and my mom would hang out at the cancer center and chat since they had my dad in common, and commiserate about his insanity.

So there is all of that, plus FI had to leave early early yesterday morning for Philadelphia for a stupid conference. And so far this week I''ve been doing this stuff with school: one paper due Monday, an exam due yesterday, a paper due tomorrow, and a paper due late tomorrow night (online submission). Throw in a Dr. appt late tomorrow, and that''s my week in a nutshell.

Anyway, as for wedding planning, I got our first RSVP back yesterday and I''m so excited! So far we have a wedding of two people! Yay! I bought Blue Man Group tickets the other night for after the wedding dinner for people who want to join us, and then I bought FI and I, and my two BFFs (they are dating and living together, plus she''s my MOH) tickets to see Zumanity for late Sunday night--the last night we''re in Vegas. I also figured out a second photographer (besides just having the hotel photographer) and my signed contract should be coming in the mail today or tomorrow. Woot! Um, the wedding planner sent me a final invoice for the chapel, ceremony and all of the stuff our package includes, and tons of travel arrangements have been made. I don''t think I really have that much to do now. Just decide on the menu, watch the RSVPs roll in, get my dress altered, take some measurements for my bolero, decide on my hair, and try to not freak out about graduation, the wedding, etc.

How is law school treating you? And being a newlywed? You hardly post anymore, so I feel totally out of the loop!

I am sorry FI is gone this weekend, that sucks. Hate that! I bet you''re feeling better now that your paper is done!

Yaaaay wedding planning is coming so far along! Almost there! Blue Man Group and Zumanity sound super fun!

When is graduation?! That is even more exciting!! Not that the wedding isn''t, but one step at a time.

What are your plans for this weekend, relaxing I hope?

I''m surviving. I am doing okay/well academically. I am freaking out about the extra stuff..like do I /have/ to do a journal or law review to get a job? I really don''t want to do it.

It''s like 10-15 hrs a week minimum so much time away from my hubby you know? I am thinking more and more about solo practice after school. Newlywed life is going well! I don''t clean as much as I should this place is a wreck. Plus I decided to add even more on and start selling make-up on top of going to law school. Am I crazy?! Sorry you feel so out of the loop! I guess I stopped posting because I got so busy I also kind of felt like I didn''t fit in anymore..even with the newlywed forum, you know? Not sure. I must confess I feel out of sync with PS lately. I do miss you and some other posters though! I guess I need to at least stop by more often.
