oh dear god. My friends sent me a surprise package from Haveitsweet.com (on etsy they are Haveitconfections I think?) bec I had mentioned wanting to try their fleur de sel caramels after spending a day bored on Etsy....today a package of those showed up....I might have a problem a dozen came and there will soon be ZERO left. The lollipops they sent were also fantastic. I should NOT have opened them yet. I won't soon have room for supper... The caramel is like....buttery heaven. OMG. I think the lollies are "the Earl" flavor, and have Earl Gray tea infusions. Those are divine. I might or might not have just gone on their etsy and bought more of the caramel, in logs no less. lol

Oh yeah... I'm totally with you re: HaveItSweet - their stuff is just so delicious - handmade with the best ingredients - I do love their Fleur de Sel Caramel logs but my absolute fav is their Belgian Chocolate Caramel, and also their Cinnamon-Sugar Marshmallows.

I ended up going on and ordering some chocolate marshmallows, some vanilla ones, two "logs" of the fleur de sel and a variety of the lollipops. I actually wish I'd ordered more though that kind of defeats the purpose of going back on ww or something next week. lol

I saw the Mayan Chocolate option...I got the lollipop option on that. But I LOVE Mayan-style chocolate. There used to be this coffee house here that had a mayan hot drinking chocolate option that I loved. I don't like coffee but I loved that stuff.

Ame! You are MY type of enabler! I zipped over to their etsy site, and the only thing thats holding me back from ordering some caramel is the crazy heat wave and humidity of late. I used to hate salt with my sweets when I was younger, but I REALLY love salted caramel, now that I am a wiser, more mature woman.

Unfortunately for my thighs, we have an award winning artisan chocolate shop 15 minutes from my house. I am addicted to fleur de sel caramels. My next favorite is any of their chocolates made with spicy smokey hot peppers -- to die for.

The one that got me into Salt Caramels is actually a local company we did packaging for a few years ago, bissingers. They have one that is a margarita salt caramel....it's addictive. I had to stop going there. They are fantastic. I just hate how inconsistent the batches were.

But these...every one of them appears to have the exact right consistency, and I am not scared Ill pull one of my crowns out.

All in one parking lot -- exquisite chocolate shop, wine shop in the middle, artisan cheese shop. All three shops sell products grown & made locally. A triple assault on self discipline.

LOL you must live near my husbands aunt and grandmother. I order items from that shop for his grandmother for gifts as I like to buy local treats. Moonstruck or whatever it's called is another one I buy from.

LOLOLOL Speaking of....THANK YOU AGAIN for the treats, I have like two things left. I saved the LION and the MiniEggs for last as those are the favorites. The one with Nougat I ate this weekend and lord that was a mess. The nougat had like...melted out. lol It was hilarious. Didn't exactly slow me down though.

I may be guilty of hoovering up a second round of these delicious morsels within like 2 days of getting them. I got the vanilla and the chocolate caramel marshallows, and they threw in a pack of Cinnamon Sugar ones...I have to say the marshmallows were pretty tasty. But I think the caramels themselves are a huge win. And then the Mayan Chocolate lollipop. Damn that's some good shiz.
