Now, this is a first!

Today, on my way to work, I saw a woman on the highway WATCHING TV while she was driving! She was using her palms to hold her Ipad to the steering wheel while a movie or TV show played.

I've seen people do their hair, apply makeup, eat and read but this is a first!

I could tell from her parking placard that we work at the same company. I wanted to get a good look so I could be sure to steer clear of her...I mean, she can't be the smartest/most logical woman!

Anyone else see people doing ridiculous things while they drive?

Unfortunately, I have seen this too. Let's see, I've see a lady curling her hair and looking in the mirror, a lady with a cigarette in one hand, texting with the other and a dog on her lap. But by FAR, the absolute WORST thing I've seen is a woman breast feeding while driving. I was completely blown away! I know we are the queens of multitasking but OMG! If I could have called the cops on the lady BF, I would have, but I put my phone in my purse while driving.

I always think of the phrase, "they walk among us" when it comes to stupid STUPID things people do with no consideration for themselves or others.

DH & I saw an 18-wheeler doing about 75 mph on the highway -- the driver was reading a magazine! He had it propped on the steering wheel, turning pages as he zoomed down the road. We were appalled.

If these idiots kill themselves, it's ok with me, but they are likely to take some other innocent drivers with them; that's the horrifying part.

UGH... this irks me very much. How AWESOME of a driver do they think they are that they feel that they can multitask, WATCH TV! while driving. I live in a place that a lot of people come to retire. A lot of golf course and hot weather, and I always see older people driving and talking on their cell phone. Not that I have anything against senior drivers, but anybody talking on their phone is a Whenever I follow someone and they are driving like a monkey, I come up to them and they are chatting away, laughing on their phone. booooo...

I remember one time, seeing a girl with one foot hanging out the window, her hands were busy texting so she was using her right knee to drive. She was ALL OVER the road. I never understood why she need to hang her foot out the window... Bad smell? airing it out?

I had a colleague who would work on Excel spreadsheets (very complex ones, too) while driving down the highway. Needless to say, I never accepted his offers of car pooling.

Argh, people are so dumb! Do they not understand they are behind the wheel of a huge, heavy machine that can kill others?! I wish more people cared about driving safely.
