Congrats, cello! I''m so happy everything worked out so well for your renewal. It was in california, right?

I love your photos! Everyone looks so happy and you and your DH look amazing!

Wow, that looks like an amazing celebration! Even though it sounds like there were some last-minute changes, it seems to have turned out to be just right. You were gorgeously radiant, your hubby was handsome, and your family and friends were glowing with happiness for you. Congratulations, sweetie!!!!

WOW, you look stunning! And the two of you look so truly happy, it''s beautiful.

Congrats and can''t wait to see the rest of your photos!

First off, can I just tell you how BEAUTIFUL you look and such genuine happiness of everyone comes right through the pictures. Everything looks perfect, your parents (your mom''s dress is to die for!), your rings (where did you get that wedding band???), your grandmother''s watch, everything.

We all know of the issues with my in-laws. Well. .. they finally apologized. If you know anything about Korean culture, you know how big of a deal this is. On DH''s graduation at dinner, his mother gave me this. Korean tradition to give jewelry to the daughter in law. It''s beautiful
Apologies? That is unheard of!!! I just quickly read through your story with your IL and am so happy to hear that you two are building your wonderful lives together despite them. I''m apparently your DH''s long lost sister

I hope to build my own life with my FI away from the negative influences of my parents as well, so you two being so happy gives me much hope

I missed this the first time around! You look gorgeous, your husband looks handsome, and you both look so happy! Congratulations!

thanks for the compliments everyone :-)

babyblue. . . . they finally apologized yes. but it took them years. we were already married before this whole shindig (we got married in court partially because of their ignorance at the time. they weren''t contributing anything to the wedding we were planning and when my dad got laid off, we couldn''t afford to host it ourselves at that time. and we didn''t want people there who didn''t support us anyways). this was our vow renewal so that we could celebrate with everyone. they weren''t invited until the week before when they apologized. it was a ridiculous situation and i wouldn''t wish it on the world. just remember that when you marry someone, they are your family and you need to protect them and stand up for them regardless of who it is that is being inappropriate (even if it''s your own parents). try to set boundaries. do the right thing that way. but, if they step over them more than once, then you have a lot of thinking to do. good luck!
