Now, the best present I received was a watch from my aunt in New Zealand (the shorter one in the white shirt in the previous photo). It was my grandmother''s, who died of colon cancer when I was a kid. I cried forever when she gave it to me. It was my something old, my something blue, and my something absolutely fabulous for the big day.
We''ve been married for about a year and a half, but never had a wedding. Long story. But, here we are and it was wonderful.
Maisie, how great that you are renewing your vows! Congratulations.
Luckystar. . . . yeah. . . i look calm. Haha. My DH reconciled with his parents the week before the celebration and there were 40 people added to the list three days before the celebration. Haha. Ridiculous!
And for those of you commenting on my mother. Yeah. . .she''s drop-dead gorgeous. And she is a breast cancer survivor. Never had a lick of cosmetic surgery in her life. Eats whatever she wants. Doesn''t go to a gym. Haha. I hope she passed some of those genes down
When I get pro pics I''ll post, but it''ll be a while I think. Cheers!
Cello - It''s wonderful! I''m so glad you finally had your wedding! You look so beautiful, and your mom, wow! Love her gown too! And that watch! And that band! I''m so happy for you!
Now, more jewelry pics... I need to see that watch from ALL ANGLES! I adore it!
Aw cello! You looked gorgeous, as did you entire family, hubby, etc.! It all looked like it came together perfectly and I''m so glad you finally had your special day...Congrats sweetie!
Oh, and the watch is fabulous, as it your new ring set!
You guys are so sweet I''ll post more tomorrow. Sorry! I just moved across the country (I should start a thread with pictures from our adventures haha) and I need to do errands really bad. Random things we need around the house and considering the fact that the Celtics parade is just ending, I have a feeling it''s going to be nuts out there!
Wow - gorgeous pictures, and such wonderful stories. I can see why you were crying a lot - those were some really powerful things that happened around your wedding. Congrats to you and your DH on everything - the beautiful celebration, the move, the reconciliation with his parents, and of course, the gorgeous new bling you got
Your pictures are amazing; just beautiful! And the ones with your family (and NZ family) seem so filled with love and emotion.
I love your posts, too. You should write a book! I can''t wait to read more of your cross-country-trip adventure.
Looks like such a lovely time! I am glad things are better with your in-laws, as I am sure that makes things so much easier. Everyone looked great and you looked beautiful!
Everything is gorgeous, and wow your mom is beautiful! I love her dress. You are stunning and I love your dress too. Looks like you had a great day! Congrats!
Thank you for sharing your pictures with us. I''m so glad both of your families were there to be a part of your vow renewal, and that your ceremony helped heal you DH''s family.
And that watch? Stunning even without without its history, and priceless* with.
(*I''m beginning to resent that an otherwise meaningful phrase has been so commericalized.... but that''s a rant for another day!)
Gorgeous!! All of it!! I am sot envious of your MOB dress. It is exquisite. I love it so much.
You look just like one of my daughter''s best friends...it''s a bit wierd actually.

Wow, what a beautiful day - you and your hubby look so incredibly happy, and you and your Mom looked lovely!
Now, on to the jewelry - that band is lovely, the watch is STUNNING, and so special, and the set from your In Laws makes a nice compliment to your e-ring.
First of all, your parents are gorgeous! I absolutely love your mom''s dress, it is stunning and elegant on her. Your father looks so dignified. Your brother is adorable.
You looked gorgeous!! You and DH make a beautiful couple.
Your new band - HELLO!! It is perfect with your e-ring.
Your grandmother''s watch - absolutely beautiful and looks great with your rings. What a lovely reminder of her.
Your cake - Love it!
Love the pictures of everyone on the dance floor - it looks like a very lively party.
Some of your posts are cracking me up - DH writes like a fourth grader for one. I cried like a wiener all night for another. I am laughing out loud.
It looks like it was a wonderful day. But most importantly, you have reconciled with DH''s family, and both of your parents are healthy after fighting cancer, and were able to be there for your day. It seems like it was a real "full circle" moment.
Heartfelt congratulations to you and Much happiness to you in your future!
Congratulations Cello! Your pictures are beautiful! Seriously, your mother's gorgeous and you and your hubby are such a cute couple. I'm glad everything worked out with the in-laws and that both families were present and in good health to celebrate with you guys. Your new band is very pretty and your grandmother's watch is... well, it's just perfect! Wear it in good health and with fond memories
