Now, the best present I received was a watch from my aunt in New Zealand (the shorter one in the white shirt in the previous photo). It was my grandmother''s, who died of colon cancer when I was a kid. I cried forever when she gave it to me. It was my something old, my something blue, and my something absolutely fabulous for the big day. :-)

We''ve been married for about a year and a half, but never had a wedding. Long story. :-) But, here we are and it was wonderful.

Maisie, how great that you are renewing your vows! :-) Congratulations.

Luckystar. . . . yeah. . . i look calm. Haha. My DH reconciled with his parents the week before the celebration and there were 40 people added to the list three days before the celebration. Haha. Ridiculous!

And for those of you commenting on my mother. Yeah. . .she''s drop-dead gorgeous. And she is a breast cancer survivor. Never had a lick of cosmetic surgery in her life. Eats whatever she wants. Doesn''t go to a gym. Haha. I hope she passed some of those genes down ;-)

Random things we need around the house and considering the fact that the Celtics parade is just ending, I have a feeling it''s going to be nuts out there!
 
Wow - gorgeous pictures, and such wonderful stories. I can see why you were crying a lot - those were some really powerful things that happened around your wedding. Congrats to you and your DH on everything - the beautiful celebration, the move, the reconciliation with his parents, and of course, the gorgeous new bling you got

I love the bling... but the happiness and sniffles on your face... priceless.

It looks like it was a wonderful day. But most importantly, you have reconciled with DH''s family, and both of your parents are healthy after fighting cancer, and were able to be there for your day. It seems like it was a real "full circle" moment.
