Went to see Little Louie today. He''s much cuter now that the footballness has subsided.

I know! They got Lewis out of nowhere, and Joseph is my brother and grandfather''s first name, although my brother goes by his middle name. (And don''t tell my brother, but I really, really prefer "Louis" to "Lewis"!)

That''s hilarious about the football head-don''t they look so much cuter when they''re a few days old and everything gets a little more normal?!

He is gorgeous and that is a lovely and classic name! Many congratulations to all of your family!

A friend of mine, who is nearly 6 feet tall with an even taller hubby, years ago had her first, and he was 24 inches and 12 pounds. She had him vaginally, in Canada, but tore terribly. She was afraid to have a C because it was blizzardy weather, her apartment elevator was broken and in Canada at the time you did not stay long in the hospital. Her hubby could not get to Canada right away for some reason and she had no family around. A C would have meant no driving or lifting or going up three flight, so she was determined to get the baby out with surgery!!! He was the size of a few month old at birth!!! Her second was not nearly so big.

OY!! She must have torn SOO badly!!! I have a cousin who is under 5 foot and had an eight pound baby and ripped to shreds. She had to have something like 300 stitches.

My SIL is 5''3", I don''t even know how she had enough room to keep him in there....
