I need ideas for a business name for my equine sports massage..... thoughts?

Soft Rein Massage?

It sounds relaxing! It''s been so long since I took horseback riding, I forget if that''s even a real term...

What horses are you targeting Draggie? Mainly competition, or do you also want to include leisure horses?

Pink asscher - a good suggestion, adding it to my little list.

Lorelei - I am hoping to target both athletes, leisure animals, and it has been shown that massage can be beneficial to broodmares, so breeding animals as well.

I thought of :

A Softer Stride
A Softer Touch
Pink Asscher''s Soft Rein Massage is nice
Fluid Focus? (as in fluid movement)
Focus Therapeutics?

Eventually I will be taking courses in saddle fit and acupuncture/acupressure... so doesn''t necessarily need massage in the title (the card will explain what is offered)

I would be inclined to call it something like All Equine Massage Therapy or All Equine Wellness Therapy to cover the other services you will be offering. Have you looked into aromatherapy for horses?

Lorelei - Thanks!
I have looked into aromatherapy, and it''s something I''d eventually be interested in. The program I got my certification through offers the saddle fit, acupuncture/acupressure and I believe an herbal class. Once I finish their programs I''m wanting to explore the aromatherapy and chiropractic as well.

Agree with Lorelei. I like simple business names that sound professional and get the point across. I think your other ones aren''t as clear. I would at least get equine and wellness/therapy into the title I think.

I was thinking the same thing. I''m worried some of the names you suggested are a bit vague and wouldn''t help with your brand recognition. All Equine Wellness Therapy sounds nice... you could even look through yellow pages at human therapy locations and see if they use any good keywords to show they are for wellness therapy.

My only worry for that is that it would be long? Perhaps just All Equine Wellness?

Again, cards, fliers, brochures and invoices will include services below the name. For instance right now it would simply state

All Equine Wellness
Equine Sports Massage Therapy

I like that! I think it''s simple and tells your customers exactly what your business goals are.

Me too!

I just wanted to let you ladies know, we finalized it at All Equine Therapeutics. I thought about it and was afraid that Wellness might later imply the option of calling me for diagnosis of health problems as well, and I do not do that. That''s a vet''s job. All Equine Therapeutics will encompass all therapeutics that I start doing, including the massage, saddle fit, acupuncture/acupressure etc. YAY

I like it!! I need to find some one that does this kinda work up in VA...my TB mare needs it some kind of bad. Congrats on finalizing the name!

TB - wish I were closer I''d come help ya out! Actually it would be nice to eventually find pockets in different areas where I can have several clients making it worth the trip. I know I''ll end up with something like that in GA b/c my cousin and her barrel crew are there.

well if you are ever up in VA, I have a slew of folks that would be interested. One of the local vets does this kind of work but she just charges so much $$$. Maybe I am just not educated on what a session should cost but is 200 an hour normal?!?!
