Home Need some exam and IVF PS vibes

This is a totally selfish post on my part as I can''t sleep (despite a nice sleeping pill) two nights before my big medical licencing exam. The one which, if I pass, will allow me to be an independent practicioner as of July 1st at a hospital I''m really keen to go work at. So a little of the PS dust/vibes/thoughts whatever that seem to do so well in closing house deals etc would be much appreciated Friday afternoon 2pm (Ottawa time).

And once that''s under my belt, we''re hoping to get the thumbs up for a second try at IVF sooner rather than later (cancelled IVF #1 partway through stims, so now pesky cysts have put the next start off for 1.5 weeks now) this coming Monday. Otherwise DH and I may be attempting to squeeze in another IVF rather than being off someplace exotic on a much-needed vacation.

Thankfully DH has been totally fantastic this year (especially the last few months, when he''s completely taken over shopping, cleaning, and a big part of the cooking - he never cooked more than a fried egg before that). I might have to come up with a nice anniversary present for him for Jun 4th (4th Anniversary). At any rate, I''m sure he''d be grateful for some "pass those oral exams" and "run for your life cysts" vibes too, as he''s had a lot to put up with the last 8 or so months.

Sending dust your way! I''m sure you will do great on your exams. It sounds like you have been under a lot of stress, and your husband sounds like a keeper! I hope you get to take a vacation to recuperate a bit after your exams.

Good luck with the IVF - you have a lot on your plate right now, but I feel sure you will be geting good news on both fronts soon!

Thanks everyone! I''m so glad DH managed to arrange to be up here on a business trip this week. I think I''d have been feeling far worse if I were sitting in a hotel room by myself. As it is, I can read a little more while getting my back scratched. 22h till it''s all over! I can''t wait. I just hope I don''t freeze mentally when they start to ask me the questions tomorrow...

The exam is done, but the self-doubts and second-guessing are getting worse and worse. Couldn''t sleep much last night, and kept logging in to see if my results were up yet. I''m still waiting - they said we''d either have them by Sat morning if we got lucky and they had someone to input them, or by Monday morning. Since it''s now after 6pm on Sat, it''s looking like I''ll have another 38 hours or so of agony to get through.
I thought I''d feel better after the exam, not worse!
I hope the PS dust and good wishes help!
