I want to get a French Manicure Mani-Pedi for my wedding day. I wanted to get tips put on my fingers. We are getting married on Tuesday and I won''t have time that day to have them done. However, I work on Monday and I can''t seem to find a salon that is open late enough for me to go after work. What do you think about getting them done tomorrow? Do you think they will chip by Tuesday? I am a nanny so I use my hands a lot (buckling into carseats, giving baths) but it will just be one day of work and I can try to be extra careful.

What do you think? I obviously don''t get my nails done often, but nice nails are sorta important to me because of the bling shots!

i think getting a pedicure that early would be okay, but a manicure with your job might be tough! i''ve heard that the solar nails last longer and re more chip resistant than a regular french manicure, and in my opinion, they''re also prettier. absolute worst, if the white part chips, they''ll usually touch up the airbrushing for either free or really cheap, so if you had to get a quick touchup, that''d be much easier than trying to get a full set! hope that helps, and good luck!

You could try:

1. find a salon in a large mall and get them done there. They are sometimes more expensive that way but usually take clients in the later hours.

2. Get them done with the gel on top. They seem to last longer and stay shiny.

I find that when i get a french manicure, they start chipping that day or the next.

When I get tips put on, however, and they airbrush the french tip on or even paint it on, I find it stays on alot longer. If you are going the tips route, i would think you are fine to get it done beforehand. Worst case scenario you need to run in for a touch up on the day of.

Your toes will def be okay.

ETA wow i just noticed...my response is way too late...sorry.

Wow, my response will be way late too. However, my suggestion was going to be to get pink and whites. If you want tips, a set of pink and white used to last me 3 weeks easy. Without tips or acrylics though, you can kiss that manicure goodbye in 24-48 hours.
