Need job advice

So I had an interview last Wednesday for a company and was told they would be making their decision by the end of the week. I was expecting some kind of phone call today letting me know either way but didn''t receive one. The manager gave me his business card so I thought that was a good sign. I sent a thank you email immediately afterwards. He replied back saying that he enjoyed the conversation. I really want to know if I got the position. Do you think I should follow up with an email on Tuesday or just leave alone and assume that I didn''t get it if I don''t hear from them Monday?

I would touch base with them on Wednesday and say something like

"Dear Mr. so and so,
I just wanted to write to thank you again for your time. Please let me know if you need any additional information from me to make your decision. I look forward to speaking with you again soon.

I agree with HudHawk. It may be driving you nuts, but you don''t want to lose the chance you had because you bothered and it is not professional to pester. I think I would call. With emails you are never sure when they got it and it leaves you wondering. I think that you should call and see if you can get any information.
