Wedding Need help with hair

I am thinking of doing my hair in long, 40''s style waves for my wedding. I have long brown hair, my wedding dress is very fitted but flares out at the bottom (Spanish style - Pronovias), deep v-neck straps, covered in lace, looks pretty vintage-y. My engagement ring is an antique-style cushion, knife-edge, milgrain, micropave, and if I wear earrings, they will be antique-look also to match. I am getting married in the evening in a small chapel by candlelight.

My questions are: 1) Has anyone run across pictures of 40''s style waves to show my stylist at the hair trial, and 2) if I don''t wear my hair down, does anyone have suggestions for an updo that would go with the "look" I am going for?

I think a loose side bun would look really pretty with that look. Maybe a flower tucked in as well. Let me find some pics, because I think I might try out this style as well.

These are all fantastic! I haven''t been able to shrink my dress picture to upload. I don''t know why. It doesn''t give me editing options when I right-click. It''s the Pronovias Laya, but I doubt if anyone can find a pic because I was never able to. I had to ask Pronovias to email a pic to me. Then again, I can''t do anything on a computer.

When you go to your photo, right click and open with another program. Play around with that and see if it works. I had to do that with mine...I open them with paint, crop it down, then resave it. Photo quality is probably compromised, but oh well. it''s just to post on here.

I understand what you mean, and in the past I have right-clicked on pictures and a lilttle scroll option comes up. But when I right-click on this picture - nothing. I''m off to school to work on my research paper but I''ll try again when I get back. Thanks!

Hah, good one. No killer body here. I have a pretty average body and am small on top. This dress is remarkably forgiving. It cinches you in tightly at the waist, and if the diet doesn''t work, I''ll do a liitle extra cinching with some finely engineered body slimmer. Deep Vs flatter us flat-chested girls better than strapless in my opinion.
