Storm - This site is awesome! Just two night ago I was trying to explain how to tie a bowline to my happy hubby using the "and then the bunny comes up through the hole, runs around the tree, and jumps back down in the hole" method. I'm sure this site will help him a helluva lot more than my stupid rabbit analogy!

lol I remember trying to do that in scouts.
words don''t work well when trying to explain it.
Back then I could tie over a 100 different knots and tell ya which is the best too use for any given thing.
Id be hard pressed to do 10 or 12 these days but what is weird is ill need to tie something and my brain will just tell my fingers to tie it and then Ill look at and laugh because its one of those 100 and usually the best one for the job without even thinking of it.

When I was first learning to sail I got pretty good with the knots. We used to practice in the shower with wet line to make it more realistic. (Sailors are a sadistic bunch, aren''t we?!
