It''s so scary that people like this are walking around every day, and sometimes we never even know it.

I agree. Nancy Grace is going to be livid. I don''t watch her show, but know how passionate she was about the Natalie Holloway case. I can imagine she is going to be screaming more than usual for the next few days.

That dude is SKETCHY! ewww.

I am no fan of Nancy Grace though...she always seems to be going off the deep end and making harsh snap judgments (e.g. I can tell that he''s guilty because of the way he talks/looks/etc) and I think this will just fuel her fire more.

I am not a fan of hers either. She is definitely over the top (but I guess it pays her bills!). It''s weird because I didn''t want to post this article and it come off like a rush to judgment. I don''t know the facts, it''s just shocking that the same (or similar) thing seems to have happened here. I am sure they will argue it''s a setup.

I feel horribly for both girl''s families either way. I hope their killer (this guy or whoever) is brought to justice.

I thought I smelled a rat during the first investigation... And what is this boy doing partying all over the world?!? Where are his parents? What the heck does he do for a living?!?

I was wondering the exact same thing. Is he a trust fund baby?

His father is some sort of high-placed attorney in Aruba. Also, I just read that this murder took place exactly 5 years to the day of Natalie''s murder.

Ohhh, this guy IRKS me! Something about the whole situation stinks to high heaven. Even if he didn''t actually kill Natalee, he definitely knows more than he''s telling. And now they''ve connected him to this murder in Peru? I can''t believe it''s all just a coincidence . . . I think this guy is seriously shady.

Paulus van Der Sloot died not long ago while playing tennis.
Whatever knowledge he had he took with him.

Not at all surprised. Once a psychopath... It was 5 years to the date after Natalie Holloway. I suspected he''d lose all self control after his father died. He has been investigated as being involved in slave trafficking and I don''t know the status of that. His parents were upper middle class but not wealthy.

I thought his father was a diplomat in the Netherlands?

This guy was sketchy from day one. His dad holds some sort of title??

The Senior Van Der Sloot was a lawyer training to
be a judge.

I also read that the father was a lawyer training to be a judge. I think it''s extra-strange that this happened five years to the day after Natalie was killed.

Apparently he had completed his training but hadn''t done any "judging" yet.
The whole situation is bizarre.

I really believe his dad helped him dispose of Natalie''s body.

My thoughts exactly. There is just something creepy about him, and I think there is a major coverup going on in Aruba.

Knowing that he has been allowed to go free, and now another girl is dead, is just sickening to me. I realize that he has never been "proven guilty", I just can''t believe that he didn''t either kill Natalee, or let her die and dispose of her body. I feel awful for the families of both girls.

Anastasia, I agree 100%. It''s such a sad situation. If only they could have held him when he was arrested the first (or even the second) time in connection with the Holloway case, that girl in Peru would probably still be alive.

He is evil and disgusting. The murdered lady''s father appears to be well connected in Peru and let''s hope he doesn''t get away with it this time. I have family that live in the Miraflores area and I know everyone there is rocked by this. Hmmmm let''s see how he likes a Peruvian prison.....how will that compare with his priviledged Dutch upbringing.

I agree. It is so sad for the families involved.

(I also agree about the Karen avatar. Love that show!)

Wholeheartedly agree!

He admitted that they were all on the beach and very drunk the night she died, but he didn''t know what happened to her ''cause he was too drunk. I think she died/or he killed her accidentally, and panicked. Called Daddy who came over and saved the day! Daddy was very creepy.........

Aruba is a constituent country of the Netherlands. That crazy kid brought nothing but shame to a beautiful Island.

He cut his hair and bleached it red to disguise himself.
Yet he told the cabdriver he was from Aruba.

Oh snap. I am so glad he''s been caught. And want to see what the heck his dad did too. There is a lot more to this story....

He was seen with the girl on camera in the hotel, and exited alone from the room 4 hours later. I can't wait to hear his excuse for this one.

I honestly don't think we will learn anything new about Natalee, and if we do we may as well just consider it a lie. The kid is a sociopath who LOVES the attention. That is why when the attention leaves him he suddenly comes up with a new story to get back in the spotlight ("It was the security guards", "Natalee was drunk and wandered off", "She fell off a balcony", "She was on cocaine"...etc.)

If he killed this new girl, I think that Natalee's death most likely wasn't an accident. I'm thinking murder. He just lucked out because he had his dad to help him and an ocean to dispose of the body in.

I think that Nancy Grace is obnoxious but I watch her show to stay on top of all of the cases (Casey Anthony, Misty Croslin, etc).

Thank GOD he''s been arrested!!! I''m so glad to hear that!!!

And I think Lucky really hit the nail on the head here. This is one seriously messed up kid.

I think he was trying to go blond and ended up Scott Peterson orange. Apparently orange is a popular color for those on the lam.

They''re also reporting that there''s a warrant for him out of Alabama for extortion. He was purportedly trying to sell info about where he put Natalie''s body.
