Name your song

"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.

Because it was the song my son sang to me with raspy voice and all (he was trying to sing in true Satchmo style) when he was a senior in high school...

And because more recently, it was the song my son's best friend in college and I danced to at his wedding to honor my son's memory:(sad;(:((
i adore that
maybe my favourite non Bruce song
( i would love Bruce to give it a crack =)2 )

there was an add on tv - i don't know what it advertised as i think it was an American add that featured on one of those tv shows of adds
maybe it was a paint company?
but it was animated ducks and it was so beautiful
tears in one's eyes beautiful
i wish i could find it on u tube

My Way, Frank Sinatra, especially the line "Regret, I had a few...".

I would like this to be played at my funeral.

Daisys and Diamonds, I scoured the web looking for ads that may or may not have animated ducks featured but nothing that played What a Wonderful World. Here's what I'm able to come up with-- their message was equally beautiful.

OOOPss, forgot to add the link

Poles Apart, by Pink Floyd. My favourite song ever.

Far too many to pick from....but I just listened to this, it's so relaxing.....

"For Free", by Joni Mitchell.

It's about a very good busker whom nobody paid attention to because he wasn't famous and on their TVs.

I busk so I relate.
This is my favorite song to busk.
Kind of ironic how much we have in common Kenny.....
Joni is absolutely a heroin of mine....clearly a poet, musician that's once Blue.
And we're both performing musicians.....we should get together for a jam- I'll play pedal steel, you play guitar!

This is the song my son picked for the mother-son dance at his wedding...:kiss2:

Current stuck in my head. My daughter wants to walk down the aisle to this rendition of this song:
Credit to the late Israel Kamakawiwoʻole.

"A Summer Place" - the last dance waltz at my wedding! Such a beautiful song.

“Turtle Blues”, sung by the great Janis Joplin. It’s on You Tube, but I’m not sure how to post the link.

HI:

I love Cat Stevens. Peace Train still resonates with me (all these decades...) This video (while not the best sound quality) exudes the feeling, passion, and vibrancy I feel. Listen to it loud!

cheers--Sharon

I love pedal steel.

I LOVE this song. SO much that I was driving my dh crazy playing it over and over a few weeks ago. Haha what can I say when I love a song I love listening to it over and over sometimes.

I loves me my Edith ... but then ... consider the grace of this Goddess ...

My favorite song for more than 2 decades has been In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel.

'In you eyes I see the doorway of a thousand churches, the resolution of all my fruitless searches..." Beautiful.
