I was noticing LUVMYHALO has a solitaire as her avatar ... and ASSCHERISME switched to a RB ... so I thought it would be fun to see how many other peeps changed their mind or "image" after being here a while.

My handle approaches nonsense, so that still works for me!

I thought this was going to be a thread about super-long married names. DH and I always fight over who has the longer name. Neither fit on the SATs.

ETA: I really mean all of that in a totally un-snarky way, it's just hard to communicate emotions on this thing.

I have friends with little guys a little older than TTot and it does certainly seem like an adventure.

On the contrary! I''m more Deco & Delighted than ever. HA!

It surprises me how much people change their minds/styles etc.. I like the same semi-classic things I did as a *teenager* (cough-in the 80s-cough). So if I can crush on an item for 20+ years & never waiver .. its dumbfounding to me when folks switch up their e-rings multiple times in the few short months between engagement & the wedding.

I was wondering the same thing, can we change our name without starting from scratch again? I chose my web name about twelve or thirteen years ago when we first got internet access at home. Back then I thought it was cute, and my friends thought it was so cute that I had people calling me "Gem" or "Gemma" in real life. I even had GEMGIRL on my license plate. I guess I''m older now and that may be why I don''t think it''s so cute anymore. I''m not sure.

If I could change it, I don''t know what I''d change it to.

Well "Starset Princess" is the description of my old engagement ring I was waiting on from my old boyfriend four years ago. I still have the ring but keep it in my Mother's jewelry box. I told her to do whatever she wanted with it - it brings ill feelings.
